Who is your favorite (common) Batman villain?

First, a caveat. I know he has a skillion bad guys, but I need to keep the poll options under control. Second, my favorite Batman series was the WB animated version. (Mr. Stomper, however, loves the Adam West version.)

I don't watch the movies and I don't read the comics. So I have little exposure to those other villains. So my options will be heavily based on who is shown in the Animated Series.

That said, if you have a favorite that isn't on the list, I would love to see your answer below.

Now then, about mine. (I am already irritated at myself for limiting the votes to three.)

I like The Riddler. I like Two-Face, maybe because he is voiced by Richard Moll. Also, he's a bit of a tragic figure and there's always this hope that he'll "come back" to being a good guy. Then, I like the Catwoman. Because, cats. Enough said.

Honorable mention would be The Clock King (Temple Fugate). It's fun watching him manipulate time like that.  Someone I like who is not on the list would be Red Claw because she was voiced by Kate Mulgrew. *wonders if Skeen will weigh in on that one*

I LOVE every portrayal of The Joker in the movies. Love him most in the comics as well, especially the ones in the 60s.

I'm not too sure about Jared Leto playing The Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad flick though.. I love and respect Jared as both a musician and actor (huge 30 SECONDS TO MARS fan here!!) but I just can't see him as THE Joker? It'll be interesting to see his take on the character!

I'm happy that there's a poll on the villains from Batman - always find them to have the most interesting character story arcs in the DC universe.

Val Kilmer is my favorite Batman. This is a debate at my house, who is the best Batman. (I like Spidey much better.) Jim Carrey's Riddler is my favorite villain.

Oh I love Batman! And the Batman villains are definitely some of the best. A hard poll, but I I've always been a big fan of the ladies of Gotham. So I'd have to go with Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn.

As for my favorite Batman, it's either Adam West or Michael Keaton. I like my Bruce Wayne either campy or playboyish.

I love The Batman (yes), Batman: The Animated Series, and 1960's Batman. My favorite villain is The Riddler as portrayed in The Batman, serious and with a detailed backstory. (And I loved his redesign, even though many people hated it.) I love The Penguin in all series, but more especially in The Batman and 1960's Batman. The Joker in The Batman amuses me terribly and is the only Joker I've ever found to actually be sometimes lovable. But you can't go wrong with Mark Hamill voicing The Joker on Batman: The Animated Series, either.
