Who is your favorite (common) Batman villain?

I love catwoman, Poison Ivy and Ra's al Ghul. One is just missunderstood, one looks awesome in green and the third is just bad in an awesome way.

I LOVED the Animated Series.   Before that, Batman was my favorite from Super Friends.   My villain favorites are Joker, Harley and Catwoman.  Joker because he's terrifying.  Harley because she is too.  And Catwoman because she has a tendency to switch sides and be awesome at it.


I'm also currently watching, "Gotham".    The Penguin is actually quite scary and I don't want to see anything bad happen to the Riddler.

Catwoman..especially in the Adam West version

1960's Catwoman was definitely a great villain. But in the context of comparing her to other Catwomen, I was kind of bothered by her actually using cats to pull off her schemes. Some of the other Catwomen wouldn't dare place their beloved kitties in possible danger. I also like the concept of more modern Catwomen that they use the profits to help animals, at least sometimes.

I'm also currently watching, "Gotham".    The Penguin is actually quite scary and I don't want to see anything bad happen to the Riddler.

I don't really like Penguin being psycho on Gotham, but the actor is certainly excellent at what he does.

Edward Nygma is adorable and it's really sad to think of him someday going bad.

Mr Freeze's storyline in TAS has so many feels. Honestly, all of them do--even Clayface.

Oh I love Batman! And the Batman villains are definitely some of the best. A hard poll, but I I've always been a big fan of the ladies of Gotham. So I'd have to go with Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn.

Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman!  Poison Ivy is so classy and "with it", Harley Quinn is adorable even when she's being evil, and Catwoman is in that grey area between good and evil.

Fourth place would be Mr. Freeze for his complex, heart-breaking backstory.

Anyone who calls themselves a Batman fan has to love The Joker, it is an unspoken rule. Kind of like how everyone has to love Harley Quinn, you do not have a choice in either of these matters.
