Okay, I've got a name set for the portfolio. I'm calling it "The Ponies of Pop". I'm going to get cracking on the sketches as soon as I finish up some art for pony trades that I'm doing.

My Nightmare Moon is from the 1st Fan Favourites Pack. Finally after searching far and wide, I have all 4 of the exclusive ponies from that set. It completely skipped London when it was still on store shelves.

Some auctions that I've been watching lately have ended really high

- one was for a MO Baby that sold for about double her most recent PC value. Are people THAT intent on getting ponies (bidding wars) or are they putting some ridiculous amount into their snipping software to insure a win (like $130 on a $60 pony) and then getting screwed by other folks doing the same thing? What do you all think?

I think some people don't know what some ponies are worth which is driving up selling prices. And I think there is a lot of shill bidding going on because eBay doesn't do a thing to stop it. Also, there could be people who use the sniping software but if they feel it goes too high they become a non paying bidder and the auction will be relisted eventually because of this.

Hah! I know what you mean. One of those "20 inch" Chinese Big Macintosh plushies appeared, and I was ready to spend $50 for it- but it ended up being sold for $130!

Now I'm seeing it everywhere for less than $30. I kinda feel bad for whoever got stuck with that exorbitant amount.

Ugh, I am so mad at my mailman! I was looking forward to a very exciting and wonderful parcel of ponies from an Arena member that was supposed to come today. Since they were pricey ponies, they needed to be signed for on delivery. I have been home ALL DAY waiting for the mailman to come so I could sign for them. I guess my dear mailman didn't feel like coming up my driveway and getting out to bring me my ponies today because he left me a nice "sorry we missed you" postcard in the mailbox; I shall have to go fetch them from the post office tomorrow......*sigh*
