Wow, this site seems super cool..manual acceptance...it makes me feel special!  :frolic:

*ahem*

First off I'd like to say that I'm not a collector. I'm much more of an admirer. I grew up with ponies being a huge part of my childhood and they've always remained close to my heart. The early generations especially mean a lot to me..the look, the overall aesthetic..it's just perfect and charming! I have managed to hang on to a few of my favorites, though I know they aren't worth much if anything. They still frolic happily on my shelves next to my other treasures. ♥

Oh, and please just call me Akai. It's nice to meet you all!!  :happy:

Great to have you here at the Arena :wave:

My childhood ponies are the most 'valuable' in my collection too, although technically they are not worth much in the way of money because I played with them so much. I hope you enjoy the forums and get to know lots of other pony fans here :D

I'm not sure which gen I grew up with. Technically, I never saw or got any ponies 'new' as a kid. I watched on VHS tapes that were recorded off TV and my toys were second hand from my brother or friends. I will say that the My Little Pony movie (with the smooze) was my favorite. But that movie came out a year before I was even born! haha

Oh, and I just looked up my favorite pony that I have, and she's a 'Glow 'n Show pony' named Starglow. I love that she glows softly when I turn off my lights every night. ^^
