Waaaaah Pokemon Center released ANOTHER mew plush! its just their poképlush collection but ahhhhh I have to have it. I'm also dying to get that new Dragonite! Already got that Dragonair bit with fancy Japanese tags! I wish that they would rerelease the Pokemon Time plush in the US...that magikarp and dragonite were adorable.

I'll admit, I have a serious case of the grabby hands regarding that Dragonair. I wanted to come and run off with yours when you first posted pictures! I may have to make a purchase before the Pokemon Swap hits the shopping phase lol. Also they posted up a few new items (just shirts and a cup) with the three legendary birds on them. I'm waiting with baited breath because those three are some of my favorite Pokemon, especially Articuno. I would LOVE to see them release a card box set with figures for them. Or some new plush.

Also, how is your shiny hunt going?

Still hatching eggs! Almost 2 boxes worth, I've got a dratini from Spain and a dratini from Japan I hope will make me a purple dratini baby! *lol does that sound awkward?* I feel like I will get lucky soon! I keep reading the odds are 1/600 or 1/1300 something like that. My friend hatched a shiny eevee and posted it on her IG, she is my friendly rival competition with shinies so I have to hatch a shiny dratini!!!!! x3

So I went to TRU yesterday and they might be saving their jirachi in the back- I got a weird number of pikachu I saw in stock and I was one of the first few customers. I'm kinda happy if they are doing that! All that's in stock is pikachus and they said last night the truck came in! But they are usually in pairs?? x3 *wants to poke around backroom*

Just popping in to say I have crazy appreciation to you all for having the patience to work for shinies. I only have one that I got Y, a shiny seviper, and I was just plain shocked to get one

the funny thing is I started casually trying to hatch a shiny dratini too the other day.  I made it to...15 eggs before stopping?  Im trying to figure out what im supposed to do with all of these dratini other then wondertrade. 

I guess ill try my luck again a bit later on if I get a spare moment..haven't been feeling the greatest lately.

Seviper is such a great shiny, one of my favorites too!

I've always wanted to try my hand at hatching eggs for a shiny, but then I think of the other, better things I could be doing with that time. I miss the days when the Pokemon subreddit was full of amazing people who would hatch a shiny for you if the ID numbers matched. I remember helping people out too if my ID matched an egg of theirs. Anyone else remember that? I made so many Pokemon friends through that service, it was great. That's honestly where a large number of the shiny Pokemon I own came from, so I don't really bother with trying to find shinies anymore.

I know a method some people do is save in front of the breeder. Then grab 5 eggs, hatch them, no shiny? Restart your game and repeat, so not having a whole box of Pokémon.

That's brilliant!  Whenever I tried hatching for a shiny in the past I always got annoyed at how fast the boxes would fill up.

That is a really good idea. Better than filling up boxes with Pokemon that you know you'll never use.

I switched to Rattata for my next shiny goal.  I wanted something that had a shorter egg cycle, LOL.

Apparently I just have the worst luck trying to hatch shiny ones. Last year I competed in the video game national tournament, so I was hatching eggs like CRAZY trying to get all the right stats and nature's and all. I'm talking thousands of eggs over the course of months. I  never hatched a shiny in all that time o.O

did you end up getting an eevee with either yawn, wish or both? Possibly a jolly nature?

My perfect eevee project was not that bad.  I screwed up a bit on the ev training but hatching what I wanted didn't take very long.

I did get a shinx when trading out the others.

Part of me wants to go back and attempt to hatch a Shiny Volt Tackle Pichu, but I dunno if I can be patient enough for that. xD

Not saying what it is, so it's a surprise for the other. Like it will have an egg move or a special pokeball you can only get in HH and SS.
