Adult BBE Sunlight on ebay - anyone have info?

Just cruising around ebay and saw an Adult BBE Sunlight listed. Same seller also has a weird SS Posey with flocked and painted over eyes, and a SS Gusty with factory blue eyes.  But the adult BBE is WEIRD...I thought they baby BBEs were creepy enough, but the adult is worse.

Anyone have info on this? The listing says it may have been a prototype.  I tried a google search but all that I could really find were old archived forum postings.

Pretty sure they have popped up before...the Posey and the Sunlight particularly, anyone else gonna step in?? I'm thinking it was a few years back now

Haha I love all the alternate poses and colours , Whizzer is  much better in that pose, and so is Magic Star and Truly with streaks!

Oh, I remember those two! The SS were quite a hit in the old Arena days I think there was also one more adult BBE which wasn't a piggy beside Sunlight... Have to dig a bit and research! But they surely aren't new stuff

All 3 of those popped up on eBay in a lot together during the summer of 2008. It was a very hot topic on the board at the time. It happened around the time of the first Rhode Island Pony Fair... I remember reading up on it from the hotel room, lol.

Glad to see they have resurfaced. I think there was some weirdness with the auction getting taken down & relisted.

I'd love to have the Gusty for the sake of it,  but as I hate SS ponies and its such a minor difference, she's not worth that money to me.

I did dig through the old Arena threads and in one ebay auction, hathorcat spotted a pony which looked like BBE Sky rocket. Kkv pretty much covered the known history of these gals already Interesting to see them come round again, and I am intrigued as to how much they'll go for properly labelled and left to run their course
