Today I found myself having a conversation with Lily Lightly and explaining to her how I'm going to clean her up and style her mane and tail. I quite often talk to my ponies as I'm cleaning or rearranging them on the shelves, and sometimes I say hi to them when I come into the room and see them looking at me. Does anyone else do things like this, or have I been spending way too much time around ponies lately?

I always look round the charity shops in my local area in London, but I've only ever found one pony locally - a beat up g2 Ivy. So this weekend I went to some shops on the other side of London and came home with four ponies, plus one more who was waiting in a parcel for me when I got home visitors can't see pics , please register or loginLily Lightly needs some cleaning up, but she still works! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThey're all in nice condition, Celestia in particular cleaned up really nicely!

I'd like to make a cowboy hat for my G4 Applejack, as I don't think she looks quite complete without one! Has anyone else tried this? If so, what materials are best for this?

Hey, everyone. I could use some help with a few ponies I'm having real problems with First up, I have a Tornado who has the worst frizz I've ever seen. His tail is like cotton wool, and the ends of his mane are also affected. Photos under the spoiler: I'd eventually like to repink him, but obviously it's not going to work very well if his hair is like this. Is there anything I can do to get rid of even some of this frizz, or is it a lost cause? I also have a couple of ponies with really bad smooze: It's spread all over their bodies and I'm kind of at a loss for what to do with it. Is this actually mould, or just really bad ingrained dirt? Would soaking in Oxyclean help?

For the first time in ages my pony hunt paid off today and I came across Cloud Puff in one of the charity shops near my in-laws' place. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginShe's going to need new wings, of course, and a bit of a clean-up, but her hair is still lovely. If only I could find ponies in the wild more often!

I never thought I would ever own a Mexican pony, as they're so rare on my side of the Atlantic, but I was lucky to win Mexican Pinwheel in an eBay auction from a seller in Germany and today she finally arrived! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI can't get over how cute she is! Here she is with her Hong Kong cousin: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginRecently I was also surprised to find lavender Satin 'n Lace for quite a low price. She's very pretty in person, and although her mane and tail have faded I'm thinking of repinking them and restoring her to her former glory! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginFinally, I bought two of the ponies I've been looking for for ages from two of the lovely people here on the Arena! Sweet Clover came from hodgemo2 and Quackers from Aquatic Neon, and they're both as beautiful in person as I hoped they'd be visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginIt's been some happy pony-hunting lately

I recently bought Silver Glow on Ebay for what was, now I come to think of it, a suspiciously low price. When she arrived, she turned out to be covered in either spray paint or sparkly nail varnish, including loads of it in her mane and tail. Here are some pictures (behind a spoiler, as they're quite large): The poor thing, I suppose someone has tried to customise her She may also have tail rust, but I can't decide because of the colour of the paint on her tail. The question is, is there any way of getting this horrible stuff off her without ruining her hair?

I normally buy from eBay and don't usually get the chance to actually go pony hunting, and when I do I usually don't find any anyway But last week I got to have a wander round the charity shops in the small town near where my in-laws live, and found some lovely G3s to add to my herd Wind Drifter, Starbeam, Baby Bellaluna and Aloha Pearl were in need of a spa day! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBut they cleaned up so nicely that now I've got them on display in my living room visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

I finally finished my rehairing project! Before I started, Peachy needed some TLC. She had had a run-in with an amateur hairdresser and was a bit self-conscious about it: Now she has a new look (and a new admirer: Sportstime seems to have taken quite a shine to her!) (Sorry about the picture quality - I'm going to try and get some better ones!) I'm quite happy with how she turned out and I really like how she looks with different-coloured hair. I've got a couple more project ponies to work on, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how they turn out!

Is there anywhere that I can get replacement hats and bandanas for Big Brother ponies? I've got a Tex and a Chief who have both lost their hats, and Tex is also missing his bandana. I'd like to try and find replacements, as I think the boys are adorable with their hats on! Can anyone suggest anything?

I bought a job lot of accessories on eBay recently, and it came with a bonus Peachy! Unfortunately, she's had a pretty terrible haircut at some point: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginIt's a shame really, because the hair that's left is lovely and soft and tangle-free, there's just not enough of it!! When I get some time I'm going to rehair her. Haven't decided whether to try and match her existing hair colour, or try a new colour with her, all I know is that I'm going to have fun working on her! If anyone can suggest what colour of hair might look good on her, I'm all ears The good news is, apart from a couple of ingrained marks, she's lovely and clean with good eyes, and will look great once she gets her new hair. For now, she's decided to disguise her haircut: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe rest of my little herd was soon busy welcoming her, starting with her doppelganger: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBaby Cuddles and Baby Blossom got in on the action: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginSnuzzle Sandwich! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginNew Peachy now has lots of new friends: visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I've been noticing that there seem to be an awful lot of Peachies around. There's quite a few for sale individually on eBay, but whenever there's a job lot of G1 ponies for sale it almost always seems to have a Peachy in it. I now have three of them because they've come bundled with other items I've bought. Were there really that many of them made, or do people just not want to hang on to the poor old girl for some reason? (For what it's worth I love her!)
Are there any other ponies like this that turn up time and time again and that you've ended up with several of because they come with other, rarer ponies?

Does anyone out there have a Baby Brother Bright Bouquet that they might want to sell? I've been trying to get hold of one to complete my family, but no luck so far! I'm also on the lookout for baby pony accessories, such as: A "Baby" identity necklace like the one that comes with Lullabye Nursery Toys for baby ponies Bibs, bottles, etc If anyone could help, that would be great!

Hi everyone I'm in London, originally from Scotland and have just come back to pony collecting after a very long time away. I like most things to do with horses and still adore MLP as much I did when I was a pony-mad kid It's nice to have found a like-minded community, and I'm looking forward to making some new friends here
