G3 Family Headcanon (Pinkie and Cotton Candy)

After reading a fanfiction from 2003, this idea came up (unfortunately this same fanfic has some of the ponies be stallions). My headcanon is that Cotton Candy is Pinkie Pie's mom. Before you say anything, people speculate that Cheerilee is Rarity' mom and everyone knows that Star Catcher is Honolu-Loo's mommy.

But anyway, in my head they were always related.  Pinkie Pie has balloons, G3 Cotton Candy has candy floss, both sort of "celebration" related.

I tend to think of them as just different generations of toys. But I think its fantastic people can enjoy ponies to such an extent and add their own back stories.

This is the story. Also, did you know that PP's concept art looked like a cake? You see the two together in a couple other G3 specials, but they never talk to each other aside from "Pinkie Pie's Ladybug Jamboree."

That's a problem. Usually, Pinkie addresses a group and when she is talking to individual ponies, it's Sky Wishes, Minty, Rainbow Dash, or Wysteria. She never talks directly to Cotton or anyone else in any other special.

That's a problem. Usually, Pinkie addresses a group and when she is talking to individual ponies, it's Sky Wishes, Minty, Rainbow Dash, or Wysteria. She never talks directly to Cotton or anyone else in any other special.

Ehhh, actually, she did. When Cotton asked her what her band was called in 'the ladybug jamboree'. But it was a quick enough exchange that it could be written off.
