Attention Accessory nuts! A little help please - Brushes and Combs

So I'm working on major updates to my Accessory Site.

I've been taking pictures of brushes and combs that I own and adding them in as I figure out who they belong to..

A few have me scratching my head though, so I thought I would call out for help...
I found that I have a Dark and Light Yellow Bear Brush

I know that the lighter one came with a slew of ponies - but the darker one has me stumped - it's glossier too..

Anyone have Sea Spray MOC - This is the pink comb I have.. I've compared it to my MOC Foamy and hers seems to be a shade lighter than this one - but the pictures that I have of Sea Spray make her comb look much darker than this one...

This page shows all the fish combs I own - if anyone can please double check it to see if I have the right one's matched up with the right baby sea pony - I'm pretty sure on 95% of them but I'm trying to be 100%

I'm also looking for pictures of MOC Accessories that I don't already have. Once I get all my accessories photographed I'm sure I'll be looking for specific items too.

Please help if you can.

Honestly I have no clue about variations of the teddy brushes because I only have about 15 yellow ones and they are all pale. Why did hasbro have to make it so confusimg with the colour variations?! The pinks are the worst!

Oh goodness, and the G3 brushes?!  I gave up before I even started.

Hmm, yeah I have a couple of combs like that...maybe its the difference between a UK and a US release??

Not sure so I'll guess I'll just throw the brush into my oddities box. - yes I have a whole box of pony oddities.

Any help on the sea pony combs?

I'm still sorting through brushes, probably will be all week.

The teddy bear comes do come in a range of minor shade differences but I believe the dark glossy yellow one is Baby Apple Jacks.

The problem with colours on accessories can be that different cameras change shades slightly. Sea Sprays comb is a proper pink - the one pictured looks as though it has a purpley tinge to it? But it could just be the light. Sorry honey.

Twins came with the light version.

Did you also know that Leafy & Luckyleaf have different shades of Green bears than the twins?

Twins came with the light version.

So the Darker one could be Baby Surprise - I can see that.

Did you also know that Leafy & Luckyleaf have different shades of Green bears than the twins?

That I did know - I am lucky enough to have them with their accessories.

I will try and compare it to my MOC Foamy again - It looked like it was a shade darker than the comb on the card - but maybe it was just the lighting.  The comb I have does look lighter than that MOC picture of Sea Spray and the other MOC images I have of her..

Do you have a bear brush comparison like the Fish combs? I like the fish comb page, but I think I have a few more shades than those pictured.

I don't have a Bear Brush page yet - will be building it soon.  I am missing a couple of fish combs - hope to get them soon.. plus I'm not 100% positive on Pina Coloda's Fish Comb color -if it's the same as Seashore's or not...
I also not sure if I have the Pretty Up Fish combs pictured...

Plastic color depends on what batch of melted plastics it came from. It can all be colored and very close to each other, but super hard to get a match on colors onces its made from a different batch of melted plastic. There is a formula to put in to make the plastic color. Some of the people that make the plastic colored chips/pelets dont always put in the right numbers and formula to make the right color. Since most (not all) are men that work in plastic companys and are underpaid they dont care to mix the same color to a perfect match. As long as it looks close they pass it to sell to the companys that need the colors. And they get away with it because the plastic is not cheap in the US.

This is not true for all places im sure just in general. I dont want to offend any one working in plastics..This being said.. I have trouble my self matching up brushes/combs too. And just did my G3s last night  I was cross eyed before it was over!!
