This! Otherwise if you have to go into the store, unless it's super busy the whole process usually doesn't take all that long from my own experiences!

The place was packed when I bought my Rudolph and Clarice a few years back, but it still didn't take very long. The whole line was adults buying Rudolph and Clarice so the ritual was totally optional.

I have it marked in my calendar Hoping I can convince the hubby that they aren't a big waste of money. I know they are expensive, and I generally don't get the plushies, but BAB are so much more special (and we haven't been in ages).

My local store said they have a stock of 120 of each of the ponies, but no per-familiy limit... yet (I guess there was a limit on smurfs).   I told them I know of 120 people that wanted them right now!

That's very interesting, as I know my nearest Build a Bear had to put the Smurfs on clearance just to sell them all off

my husband went in yesterday to pay out deposit for our party/gathering and the accessories they told him will be with ponies will be roller skates and a cape and pony sounds will be available too
and they are pretty sure there are brushes too (but weren't 100% sure)

I wonder if they'll come with special boxes? Did the smurfs have special boxes? I realized that I have to buy a gift for my little niece for Christmas... Pinkie!! Do you think they will have an age recommendation on them?

I'm not a a big Pinkie Pie or RDash fan either, you know what would rock? If it was truly a 'Build-a-Pony', like making customized ponies. Not sure how they'd do it though. Like you could pick a color, type of pony (Earth, uni, peg, ali) and hair color/eye color. Now THAT I would be excited about.
