Hello everyone, you can call me InkyMilk and I'm very pleased to meet you all I'm a 22 year old student from California (USA), working on my final year to obtain my BA in English (I hope to go into publishing/writing).

I used to watch the G1 ponies when I was little (including the My Little Pony Tales series), as my Gramma used to record the episodes for me on VHS and let me watch them when I went to her house after school. I still adore the first movie and don't think I'll ever outgrow them, no matter how people like to poke fun at their 80s animation and whatnot. My favorite ponies were Gusty, Sweet Stuff, Morning Glory and the Big Brother ponies. I never got into the G3 ponies though I like their designs, but I'm a big fan of the new G4 ponies. I was admittedly very hesitant about getting into the newest series as I wasn't a huge fan of the art style, but after seeing that Applejack and Spike were included I decided to give it a shot. SO glad I did as I really quite enjoy it, and the art style has really grown on me quite a bit as well.

I always used to collect ponies even if they weren't actual official My Little Ponies. They're all stored away and I haven't had a chance to find and look at them in years, so I don't know which I have or if any of them even are Hasbro's ponies! But since I've gotten into G4 I have a small collection now of those ponies, along with Sweetie Belle from G3.

So, I think that about sums me up. I'm open to answer any questions and I'm very happy to be on this forums!

A career in writing/publishing sounds really interesting. I do a bit of fan fic writing and am hoping to one day write my own novel.  It will be interesting when you get to see the ponies you have in storage. I wonder which ones you have!

Thank you everyone! I'm really quite excited to go find my old ponies now and may attempt to do so today as today's a cleaning day. I never really knew what the G2 ponies looked like but after seeing some for sale here I realize that I did have at least one G2 ponies, a pink one with I think yellow hair, so I really hope I can find her!

As for G4, I'm quite smitten with Thunder Lane (the pony in my avatar), but of the central 6 ponies my favorites are Rarity and Applejack <3 Big Mac is also right on up there!
