Does anyone have Cherry Pie and Heartthrob available? I've got a rush order that needs to be completed ASAP and DH shipping is too slow!

I'm not a big fan of sculpted hair unless it's super show accurate. The kind that you make with the press that makes your clay like spaghetti noodles just doesn't do it for me... I don't know, it just reminds me of play-doh too much :/

I don't have any of the BBs on my list I think it would be really neat to display the BB next to the brushable!

Customs / Opening triple thick?« on: June 08, 2013, 02:43:41 PM »
So I had a little mishap with my triple thick and ended up closing the container before I cleaned off the threads... and now it's glued shut. Has anyone had this issue before and how did you get it open? I need it for a trade and really don't want to buy a new one as this one is barely used...
Thanks! 37

So I sat down today and did way more than I planned on doing
Both ponies are fully painted and sealed and one of them is fully rehaired. All she needs is her neck plug glued back in and I'll have my main girl all done My second girl just needs her hair (which should be arriving soon) and she'll be finished too 38

I'm good with either style of eyes Your own personal touch would be cool if it's something you're comfortable with; that way if Hasbro ever does make that pony (haha funny right?) I'll have something totally unique

Hubby finally got paid so I can order hair now
anny: my baits are horrible for repelling paint too!! I've never had this many issues with a base coat before As for pets, I have a German Shepherd puppy and three kitties No sensitivities or diet issues but I'm sure my puppy would appreciate the treats more-so than the cats would (they take delight in chasing each other rather than toys). And for tinsel, I don't mind it as long as it isn't too over the top. I like to be able to brush my pony's hair without ripping out all the tinsel because it's too thick. That being said, no tinsel is ok too 41

Quick little update for me Both baits are prepped and I should be starting on their FBR this week (if hubby doesn't monopolize my time he's getting surgery for his ACL).
As for baits as extras, I would love some! I really love customizing G4s, but I'm running low on G3s. Can't stand G3.5s, but G1s and G2s are good as well. So if you have extras just kicking around I definitely wouldn't mind them I'm also completely ok with getting an imperfect pony as an extra, especially since it was something new that you tried. I can't keep my less than perfect experiments around either, but that doesn't have to mean they have to be unloved! 42

These are adorable and even though they're geared towards a young audience (its ponies... come on ) I would love to see something like this waiting in my mailbox every month!
However... I looked online for a subscription option and all I could find was this: http://www.newsstand.co.uk/109-Primary-Girls-Magazines/16278-Subscribe-to-MY-LITTLE-PONY-Magazine-Subscription.aspx That's more than $180 USD!! I absolutely cannot justify spending that much for a kid's magazine. Maybe $40 or $50, but $180? Come on! That and I doubt they ship to the US... Any other input as to where I might be able to get the magazine? Sorry for OT... 44
Customs / Re: Gluing neck plugs back in a G4?« on: May 20, 2013, 02:03:30 PM »
I know everyone says to use Krazy Glue, but my best luck has come from using two-part epoxies made especially for working with plastic. As long as you store it correctly after you're finished with it, you can save it for quite a long time too. It's super strong and I don't have to worry about the neck plug coming out of a pony's body if someone gives her a rough head turn.

That is definitely very pretty and I love the texture as well!
My suggestion for which side to add the extra row of plugs? Paint the eyes first and then decide Whichever side turned out less perfect you can add the plugs onto and make the NDS I'm terrible at getting symmetrical eyes and I always favor one eye over the other (I hope I'm not alone in this)... Best of luck though! This looks like a lot of work! |
