What happens to them?

If someone is a bad seller (but one that usually sent them end and not an outright scammer) and gets banned and avoided by everyone in the community and no longer can sell ponies, what do you think happens to the ponies they can't sell anymore?

They just find another place to sell them - like eBay.

I agree that they probably get sold somewhere else like Ebay.  Though if the seller doesn't have any luck maybe they get released into the wild where someone like me will snatch them up.

Agreed that they go to eBay. But I've also heard people say that some of the scammers show up on Facebook. Sometimes they try to come back to the Arena under a different name or go to the TP. But they always seem to show up again unfortunately.

I guess that does prove that people dont stop their dishonest activities. :/ I think its a bummer but people just dont stop what their collecting if they are banned.

Alas, there is no MLP version of animal control. The community (hopefully) becomes protected from a negligent seller, but it also suffers by that seller still having ponies that the community would like to own. *shrug* It's a no win situation.

They go and live in the ponyland jail long with their banned owners. The tp and arena maintain a shared correctional facility.

I try my best to keep track but it's not easy...    I need confirmation from mods and sleuthing of other members!

This ^^   if they come back here under a new ID or go to the TP they get caught again though. They usually head off to ebay or similar sites or facebook

Nope, not that I can think of.    Unless you're talking about people whose parents were leery about the collecting thing during the '90's and didn't help their kids ship ponies properly and in a timely manner.  Pre-Arena and pre-MLPTP times; we were all growing up and made mistakes.  However, most of those people moved on from collecting.  As far as a true redemption?  Nahhhhh I don't think so!

I think they move on to other forums, they change their e-mail addresses, and sometimes they use fake names.

This I have seen a ton show-up on FB, and I cringe. As far as showing back up here, yep they sure do but they usually do something stupid to get them self caught. We have a pretty good gatekeeper around here though. So most of the time they are stopped in their tracks before they can get comfy.
