Hello my fine pony enthusiasts! I would like for you to join me in a tale of eBay lots, pink highlighter and black mold. You'll laugh! You'll cry! You might even throw up a little! Come with me friends, as I spin the tale of: The Disaster Girls: Part 1.
I, like many collectors, was perusing pony lots on eBay. A particularly cheap lot caught my eye of some G1s in...questionable condition. None of them were rare, but hey, there was a seapony in this lot! And I love the idea of prettying up these ladies. So the purchase was made!
They arrived fairly quickly; so I set to work on them! I am still in the process of restoring the vast majority; some are QUITE worse off than others (Firefly...dear God...
Firefly...) But I will be chronicling them as I finish!
First of the Disaster Girls: a baby seapony whom I strongly believe is Baby Salty. (If that is who I have BEST NAME EVER) As you can see, she wasn't too bad off. She just needed a bath and some TLC on her hair. Hair isn't perfect yet, but it's a sight better than it was. Still have some work to do on the ends. So ends the tale of (Probably) Salty!
