Why don't they understand that one will NEVER be enough ;p
« on: February 23, 2013, 09:42:28 PM »
Was talking to my bf this morning, venting about losing some ponies on ebay....he simply replies, you have enough ponies Sam, you don't need anymore.  Its true, I don't NEED any but I WANT many many more lol, he will never understand this.  How have your collecting habits progressed lately? I didn't really buy any ponies last year as I'm studying and trying to save but over the   uni break I've been working and buying here there and everywhere.  I seem to go through phases of interest in my ponies.  I can have total dry spells, then suddenly I'll get nostalgic and splurge on a few lovelies.  How bout you guys?? What are your most recent purchases?

I was sad about just missing a couple things recently on eBay. When I told my fiance and my mother about this, they both said, "Don't you already have that one?" Well yes, but I wanted more. :( Haha.

I have been trying to sell and buy at the same time lately. More ponies have left than have come in, but the new ponies have cost more.  ;)

Everything has to be about 20% cooler ^_^

I found some ponies at the markets today :) got 3 G1, 2 G2 and 5 G3s for less than $15 :) I don't even know if I want the G3s. They just looked so lonely there  I've got a friend who collects, though, and like to give her a few from time to time as she's got even less money than me

I know what you mean. Sometimes I even sit back and question myself about buying so many ponies lol It's like no I don't need them but I want them so I'm always going back and forth on if I should buy ponies or not
My bf occasionally says something about it but I think he's just gotten used to the fact that I'm always going to want more :P

I agree, Wind_Whistler - ponies are like chocolates in that one is never enough!  The last pony I bought was Zecora.  Even though I don't buy many ponies now I still enjoy picking up the odd one here and there that I like :)

I hate when people ask "don't you think you have enough ponies?"  Of course I don't!  Five hundred is not enough.  Enough is a concept I'm not familiar with.

I'd not bought any for months, but I've gone a bit mad lately.  Must be going through a major nostalgia phase!   I'm lucky that my OH is supportive in my collecting and I'm the same when it comes to his model railway.  Once the bills are paid in our house, our money is free to be saved or spent on whatever we want  :)

This weekend I've ordered Seaflower and Wave Runner from Shelti  :cheer:

I do sometimes wonder why I have so many..........I could have saved that money or put it somewere else. But then I would not have anything that is cute to look at. So I guess my answer in the long run is no I do not have enough :)

I haven't bought for a few months as hubby was ill. Now he's better I've gone completely mental and bought half of my US and UK pony need list :silly:

I never get tired of ponies but I do go through phases of actively buying and then just buying the odd thing occasionally :)

This sounds just like me!  BTW, my OH and I loved the newspaper article about your pony room hunny, I would love to have something like that one day.

Glad to hear hubby is feeling better too  :)

Lol - this is the war cry of my family when another box of combs and brushes arrive in my home. "Dont you have enough?" Nope....never I cry and clasp the bag of combs and run for the pony room.

I think I have more combs and brushes than ponies however so perhaps one day I ll admit I need to stop...but not yet!
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
Loa is my love god!
I love Loa more than PonyLady!
