Greetings and whatnot

Hello, fellow ponyfolk. I'm Catnip, and I have no idea what to write in introductions. Naturally. It's a common issue. So, I'll go with the basics. I'm twenty-four, and I live on the west coast of the US. I'm taking a break before going back to graduate school, and working as a barista in the meantime.

In terms of ponies, I was obsessed with it as a kid. I can't recall which generation it was... first or second. I don't remember what my toys looked like, since I sold them in a garage sale years and years ago. Sigh. Middle school me was all about getting rid of all of my childhood toys and memories. Because storage wasn't an option, apparently. In any case, my older brother introduced me to Gen 4, and I've been hooked back on pastel ponies.

My collection's not too big, what with the whole poor-college-student-now-graduate thing. It doesn't help that I strongly prefer customs to store-bought merchandise. I like having something created lovingly either by myself or another crafter. It feels better to me. Like I have something special, and that I supported another person's hobbies. Or something. I dunno. I'm sure I'll blab more about what I have later, and post pictures and all that.

Welcome to the arena Catnip! Cute name, I prefer catnip plants (plants can be cute!) to cats themselves, which is ironic cause my name is Kitty. (parents are Gun Smoke fans apparently...). As for customizing its such a cool place to learn ideas and see different styles as well. I saw your other post looking for first time customizers and I hope you find someone, I can't wait to see what ya'll come up with.

I tend to stalk/live in the art section so if you ever peep in that section I'll be there!
