After being put on the wrong plane, ending up in PA, being processed through several sort facilities before they realized that the box was at the wrong side of the country, put back on a plane, disappearing for a few days, and then getting stuck overnight at the local sorting facility, my Beyla FINALLY arrived today, safe and sound (thank GOD!!)!!

She's bigger than I'd expected, which is fine by me! I can't believe how beautiful she is in person, plus I got 4 wigs, several eyes, a dress, her hooves and tail, plus her jewelry. Totally worth the $550!

It feels like I waited FOREVER to see this box in my mailbox. (I was also impressed that it was the original SOOM shipping box)

Moment of truth... the doll bag! I was really relieved to see how padded it was, considering the adventure that USPS sent her on.

I immediately changed her eyes to the purple ones (I much prefer eyes with pupils, lol) and tested out the unicorn horn that I had custom made for her! Since it's just magnets, I can take it on and off whenever I want her to be a unicorn!

Yeah, they have a beautiful pink blush on the feathering and gloss on the actual hooves. I'll get pics of those too, once I figure out how to restring her.

Thanks, my mom gives me an ornament every year for Christmas and this year, I got that one.

She's got her other hands too, I think I'll put them on as long as I'm restringing her for the hooves. The cutie hands are adorable, but I think that for general use, I will get more use from the others.

Thanks! She was quite a big buy for me, but I've wanted her for years. She was the first doll I ever wanted and I never thought I would own her. I was nervous dropping the cash (since I'm pretty tight on funds and my hubby has no idea how much BJDs cost

), but now that she's here I am SO glad that I splurged on my amazing grail dolly, rather than picking up some less expensive dolls that are pretty, but not ones that I love. I can't wait until I get the time to sit down and take some pictures! Once I have a day off and some good lighting.
