I am wondering if the blind bags in the US are the same as ones released in europe or if they are different/variants.  Also can anyone tell me which set the glow in the dark ones were in?

They're the same.

Glow in the dark ones are in wave 3.

Yes. Apparently the international ones have the ponies' descriptions in multiple languages, but the US ones have slightly more info about the pony.

Yes. Apparently the international ones have the ponies' descriptions in multiple languages, but the US ones have slightly more info about the pony.

There are also some slight differences in the glitter pony cards (and possibly the mane 6 - not sure on those).  They have a little extra design around the name on the front and also say "Special Edition!" on both sides.  I only have a couple of the US ones so this is the best I can do for a comparison:

As far as I know the main difference is as said before, the text on the cards. In Europe, the text has to cover so many languages, the pony 'backstory' info is restricted to about 5 words! In the US, they have the luxury of a longer text since they are only in English

ETA - Incidently, I think the text for the EU version of Rainbow Dash just says "loves to fly"! so it gives you an idea of how much the text is cut back vs. the US example

I just noticed that my Euro Sweetie Blue card and my US one are slightly different.  The Euro card:  Sweetie Blue is more blue in color (closer to the actual blue of the pony figure) but her eye color is different (can't remember what color off-hand).    USA card:  her body is more aqua-blue in color, and her eye color is accurate to the figure.   

I just got my first 4 USA ones, so I'll update if I find any more that are different. 

Oh!   And the pamphlet is arranged differently as well.  Same basic design but the ponies are shown in a different order. 

The wrappers, inserts and display box are pretty much the same, except for the text / languages.

The TRU cards are different from the others as well i think.  So far I think the US only has wave 1.
