Lets start off with a picture of the REAL Spanish Masquerade. I want to show you what my inspiration was. I cannot remember the name of the forum member who recently had her and sold her, but I'm sure someone does and will reply.
Here is a link to the completed auction if you are curious about prices or more pictures.

loginScraleos said she wanted the pony to look as close to this one as I could make her. I noticed two big differences right off. One, she appears to have three rows of hair plugs, and two, the pink in her cutie mark is a LOT darker than the normal Masquerade.
Not knowing about the use of big flat gems to imitate twinkle eyes, when Scraleos told me she wanted the twinkle eyes from Masquerade, put into the deflocked body of So Soft Bouncy.. I did just that. I took Bouncy, deflocked her, and cut holes in her eyes. Then I took Masquerade, ripped her twinkle eyes out, and set them into the sockets I had made in Bouncy, then secured them with Apoxie.
Have I made anyone cringe yet?
The apoxie makes her a little front heavy, but when I went to add some to her back legs to balance her out, I noticed that it left a horribly noticeable shadow, so I did not.
She is rehaired with Dolly Hair Atomic Turquoise, Sea Nymph, Envy, and Electric Banana

loginShe was super intimidating to work on, because she is the first pony I have deflocked with the intention of needing the pony body to look good and hairless. She is the first pony I have done twinkle eyes on. And she is the first pony I have done to deliberately imitate another pony already created. I worried a lot about getting her right, because in the end, this is a trade for a plushie from Scraleos.. and she does really really AWESOME plushies and I really wanted her to be happy with this.
In the end, I am very pleased with her face, and she has been a huge learning experience for me.
