Glitter/Translucent Mane 6

I don't know much about these glitter and translucent Mane 6 girls. I've seen pics on StrawberryReef but I was just wondering how many are known and what's the (rough) cost of them?

I think that they never made a Twilight Sparkle. Some are glittery and some are translucent with sparklies inside of them. There are about four known of each, I believe. They have bangs and were made in 2010/early 2011? I've also heard that their hair is incredibly soft!

You can expect to pay between $100 and up to $500 if you get a Brony bidding war, if not, the highest would probably be $300 I think. Somebody can correct me on this information if it's not right.

I recently paid $155 for Applejack, $120 for Pinkie Pie with the black balloon and $120 for Wysteria if that helps

Right now they're considered prototypes, and there are not that many of them that we've seen.  Less than 10 of each, maybe less than 5 of some.  And I don't think you can order them on taobao - or at least if you could, they sold extremely fast.  They've been popping up on ebay.

Now, the black balloon glitter pinkie pie matches the new FS "Black Tie" Pinkie Pie that is currently on TaoBao.  (BTW, Clipper is putting together a group order for her on the sales board).

Fashion Style "Black Tie" Pinkie Pie

(^^ We're calling her "Black Tie" PP as there's a thought she's going to be a gift at the dinner event at the fair.  She looks like a "Black Tie Event" Pony to me. )

Not counting the Pinkie that was found recently with the black and white balloons, here they are in descending rarity:

Rainbow Dash (at least one must exist) - Has bangs, no glitter
Rarity (only one confirmed to exist) - No glitter
Pinkie Pie (2 or three have been seen) - Glitter is painted all over this pony
Applejack (around 5 have been seen) - Glitter is painted all over this pony
Fluttershy (around a dozen are confirmed to exist) - No glitter

If I had to guess prices, I would put Fluttershy, AJ, and Pinkie Pie around $150, and the unique ones (Rarity and possibly RD) at least $200, but more depending on how popular they are at the moment.

There have been more like 5 Pinkies now- end prices in the 70s - 100.  There is one on ebay right now (or maybe it just ended). 
There was a pile of AJs recently too.  THe prices for AJ were between 137 - 200, there is one up right now for $250.

There is also someone on the customs board that is doing hand cast resin customs for $50 each. They are closed to commissions right now but when they open back up at least it is an option if these never see release.

I think the clear ponies will be produced. To me they look like a store exclusive box set also there is no Twilight, making me think they have might have something to do with her princess transformation. They do look like they belong in the crystal empire?   Of course I thought the same thing about Minty and she is super rare now...

This is exactly what I was thinking. I'm afraid to spend tons of $$ on something that may be out in stores in a bit :s but then I'm afraid if I don't jump on it I'll miss out.

I believed for awhile that they were going to come out. :/ and with the sparkle ponies in season 3, that was a fantastic time to release them. But now it's been so long, and there is such a low quantity... I believe that they were created to make a pitch to the stores -- and they were rejected.

I hate myself for not getting an Applejack. I probably won't see her pop up for sale u__u; I never see her when I check. I'm ok with paying a higher price too. ugh.
