My name is RuthAnn. I have two amazing daughters. Ember is 6 and Briar is 3. They love,love,love FiM. They are the collectors now, not me. I haven't collected since about 2007... but I put nearly 10 years into collecting over 2000 ponies. I still have, oh, around 100 I guess. Some I still need to sell and some favorites I'm hanging on to.  I used to be a mod here and on another pony forum and helped run the US Pony Fair for the first 5 years.

I taught 1st grade for 7 years, 3rd grade last year and am taking the school year 2013-2014 off to homeschool my oldest daughter. I am also a group fitness instructor. I teach BodyCombat- k'yah! I am an exercise nut/gym rat. I also do a little art on the side, free lance artist if you will. My last commission I was paid in fudge, lol.

Thanks so much! Yes, I can't recall the dates, but pre-2011 for sure. It's so nice that the arena changes so little- new topics, new members, same super friendly, easy going environment!

Diamond- careful!! I lack bones, ya know! No squishing... well, maybe a little squishing. Only now, you're all slimy! My girls really only like FiM. They will watch the cartoons from the 80s, but don't love them. Ember liked the g3 cartoons when she was 3-4 years old but has aged out of them. And I get it! I think that was the target audience anyway. Lack of plot, yes?
