If she registered her phone number or address, paypal will do anything to catch her and get their money back. I might be speaking from experience only from my country, but I believe that all branches of paypal over the world will have the same policy.

It might take some time, but they will make her pay. I have no idea about reporting to the police, but I know for a fact that paypal works with offices who hire bailiffs and take care of vindication. Even for the smallest amounts of money, like $10, so if she has scammed so many people, I'm sure that she will have to give back what she owes.

She's also into it for international criminal activity...I'm Canadian, so that brings to a whole other level. I'm not sure if she's defrauded people in any other country :/

Raises hand with a question:  the counterfeit thing?  The item is destroyed?  By who, and how do they prove it?

I bought a counterfeit PC game from ebay once. When I spoke to the Paypal rep on the phone, she told me to take the game to an established local electronics dealer and have them issue me with a letter saying that it had been destroyed and fax that letter to Paypal. I don't remember whether I had to have them destroy it or if I only had to show them that it was already destroyed in order for them to write me that letter.

I got 1/2 my refund yesterday, but had to call PayPal to get the full story. Since I paid in 2 installments, the issue was only filed with the payment that I used to open the dispute...not the other, earlier payment. Now I have to wait another 10 days to get the rest of my money  Ah, well. At least their refund policy is much better than it used to be!

I hope they are smart enough to use the address she was using to have items shipped TO her and not the address she had registered with paypal, which is probably wrong.

Hopefully they also file a police report.  Sounds like they probably will.

Hi guys! Thank you Pony Lady for moving my post over with this one Easier to keep track of all in one place. Sorry for the lack of update for so long, I had my baby last week so I have been very busy. Well they finally released the hold last week on my funds, however she still got her money back from Paypal since she claimed it was an unauthorized payment  I think before she was claiming items weren't received and then when tracking proved her wrong she was losing the cases, well now the little low life found a way around that issue. All of that crap for a $5 item.....I just don't get it...who is that pathetic???

I'm so sorry that such a wonderful time in your life has been marred by this...moron. There must be something going on here, more than we know. When i had someone living in my complex who was dealing drugs and beating the hell out of their spouse, it didn't seem to matter how many times I called the police. They never seemed to do anything! But eventually they were caught red handed, and it turned out that they were just amassing proof to really nail them instead of just giving them a slap on the wrist. Maybe that's what's going on here...
Anyway, congratulations on your new little one! I hope you're both doing well

Thank you!  That is true, they are either gathering evidence or they just don't give a crap, who knows But hopefully it will come to a halt soon.

Hopefully gathering evidence cos its not like its just one person involved here - she's scammed a lot of people on multiple sites and internationally as well. pretty serious stuff.

Well, according to the fishing laws here in Ontario, he's definately a keeper! little cutie! He must have been quite the haul for the last couple of months, though! 10 lbs! Weeooooo!!
