I worked out why I don't like Equestria Girls!

I was looking at the basic Rainbow Rocks dolls in ASDA Living the other day (they had a huuuge reset of toy stock and my mother left me freaking out at all the new stuff and pretended I wasn't her child uwu), and I was just not feeling them apart from Pinkie Pie, so I was thinking... why don't I like any apart from Pinkie Pie? And then it hit me >w<!

Their eyes are way too small for their head molds! I was looking through Oak23's Tumblr because I remembered he had put an Equestria Girl head on a Monster High body and I wanted to see how it looks and I saw this along the way while I was trawling through his Equestria Girls tag.

He had got 2 Raritys and repainted one of them with 'movie accurate eyes' I would buy the repainted one in a heartbeat. She's 2000 times cuter with the repaint!

The EQG eyes are just way too small for their heads and they look bizzare! They're sooo cute with the bigger eyes, and Rarity looks more like Rarity! The link between MLP and EQG is so much more profound with the bigger eyes >w<!

Oh, wow! That does look so much better! I see the lips have been repainted a more neutral color too. And the lack of prominent eyeshadow helps.

I dunno. I wouldn't call their eyes too small.
(It's not as if actual humans got huge eyes.) In fact, i think the re-paint has a bit of a creepy stare going on but that's just me.

See, the Rainbow Rocks basic lines in particular bothers me because of the eyes, but for a different reason--the eyes are waaaaaaaay too low. They're literally halfway down the face! Compare the basic vs. deluxe dolls when you get them in store--the deluxe has a different face mold and imo looks much better.

That's epic! She looks so bored with the old facepaint. The new one looks more like Rarity.

The repaint definitely looks more like Rarity.  The eyebrows help a lot as well as the eyes.

Wouldn't have them in the house, luckily Clare thinks they are hideous too!

I think the ears bug me more than the eyes. They are standing at very odd angles on their heads. It would have been more acceptable to me if their ears are on the sides like elves rather than on the forehead or just leave them their normal human ears.

Eurgh, I agree totally! Never is one of those things entering my house! In fact I am so confused that the general pony community seems to have fallen in love with them...
