I just got this set a week ago. The quality is definitely down, but I'm still excited to have new ponies--especially villains! So, everyone show off this set! I especially want to see how people are styling their hair! Has anyone cut Bubbles' hair to make it show-accurate? I'm thinking of doing this.

I'm also interested to hear what quality issues people found. I had to look through 5 sets to find one I was satisfied with. Half of the Shining Armors didn't have painted hooves, a few ponies had bent legs. One Bubbles had hair from a rooting accident sticking out from under her wingpit, giving her under-wing hair. And ALL of the Chrysalises had the head turned in a way that permanently bent the wing back a little bit. Still happy, but good grief!

Here is my set! You can't see, but my Shining Armor DOES have blue hooves, though many sets missed that.

Oh, she made me sad. She was like one of the failed Ripley clones from Alien Resurrection. Nobody has hairdos yet? What's the consensus? Cut Bubby's hair, or don't cut it?

Neither of the TRUs near me have even put the set out on the shelves yet We still have the NMM fan favorites set

I'm in Oklahoma right now, and I got them from TRU. We're usually about that last to get anything, so I'm guessing they're out in a lot of places.

I say cut it if you will prefer it that way. You are best to have the pony in the style which will please you the most. The set is going to get a massive release and be owned by a lot of people so I would not worry about them being hard to find or super expensive in the future.

I would never deliberately cut the hair of a pony but I understand for a lot of people the style or show accuracy is important so I understand the desire to cut it.
