Wow, I can't believe I get to share the first of the Wings and Things swap boxes!!
Woo-hoo, let the partying commence!!
A friend of mine watched my daughter today so I could check off a few items from my massive To Do list, one of which was get my partner's goodies wrapped up for this here swap. Well, that hasn't happened yet because I got an unexpected delivery in the mail today.
When I saw that the box was from Sternenstaub, I had to laugh. We were each other's partners for the Tiny Pony Swap, and on top of that we did a private trade, a private Christmas swap, AND she recently sent me a box of goodies for my birthday!! Tired of shopping for me yet, Stern?
Here is what the postman was holding when I opened the door:

I love the picture on it, too... so bright, colourful, and friendly. And bears. I like bears.
I was too excited to start unwrapping everything that I didn't take a picture of the items beforehand, but everything was wrapped in super cute Mickey & Minnie paper.

I split the Long's Caramel Crisp with my husband (soooo yummy!) and the boys each had a couple of the milk chocolate eggs after dinner. As for my daughter, she climbed up on one of the kitchen chairs when no one was looking and ate the miniature bunny, lol. I have GOT to keep my eyes on that girl, she's quick!
Some fun extras:

MORE fun extras!!

As if that wasn't sweet enough, Sternenstaub included a special poem for me, which I am pretty sure she wrote. I will treasure it always.

And speaking of ponies, here's what you've all been waiting for. Sorry it took so long!

It was kind of cheeky to put Baby Ribbs on my wish list, but I have been wanting an upgrade for a while because the one already in my collection has badly rubbed symbols. He may not have wings, but the dragon on his bum does!
I realise that Sunny Rays is a relatively common G4, but it took me a while to warm to the new line of ponies. I used to think they looked like an anime version of a donkey and a fawn put together. Now I think they are adorable and I'm kicking myself for it, lol.
My winger collection is also quite small, so it is very exciting to add this beautiful girl to my herd. <3
Sternenstaub, thank you again
soooo much for this unbelievably amazing swap box. The ponies are wonderful, but I think I am just as happy about all of the extras, especially the poem. You are such a sweet friend.
