The Annual Halloween Coloring Contest is back! Once again the Arena wants its members to show off their coloring and drawing talents. We are offering three separate divisions so everyone has a chance, even our members' kids!

Division 1
Design Your Own from scratch, no ready-made line art allowed, all work must be original. Pony only, no background but simple accessories are allowed. Original designs only and no anthro ponies, please.

Division 2
The Big Picture again from scratch, The Whole Kit and Caboodle, backgrounds, costumes, accessories, whatever! Multiples and personas may be used but again all work must be original and no line art by Hasbro or other artists may be used. No anthro ponies please. Otherwise the sky's the limit!

Division 3
Color Ours Just what it says, you color our line art. We are offering three sections. No Hasbro ponies, and if you are adding more than wings or a horn you need to go in a different division.
Section A Computer Media (digital, no hand coloring allowed)
Section B Traditional Media (hand colored)
Section C Members' Kids, this section is for the active members' children who are 13 and under.
Each section must have at least 6 entries in order to be judged. If we do not get enough entries for each section they shall be combined.

Special Mods Division Let's give our talented mods a chance to play! They shall have their own division, which will be judged by you the members!

The Deadline!
All entries due by midnight EST 6 pm EST (10 pm GMT) October 31st. Winners to be announced by November 7th.

All entries are to be PMed to ColoringContest. All entries must be PMed individually. The title of your message MUST state what division your entry is for. If you send more than one entry in each PM, they will not be accepted. You may enter up to two entries per division, but each must be submitted separately or they will not be accepted. On Division 3 entries, please be sure to include which section you are entering! i.e. if you were entering Division 3 Section B you would say Div 3 B in your title. You must be an active member of the MLP Arena to enter.

No artwork may be posted till after the winners are announced.

Voting shall be done by your lovely (oh and handsome too) talented team of Mods!

How many drawings can I enter?
You can enter two drawings for each division.

Can Hasbro ponies be used?
No, the idea of the contest is to unleash your creativity and design new Halloween themed ponies. OCs/personas are allowed in Division 2 if they fit the theme.

Yup, your niece can enter div 3 and you're still free to enter the contest yourself. You can actually enter more than just one division if you like, up to two drawings for each division!

The idea of the contest is to design new Halloween themed ponies so no Hasbro in any division please. For division 1 you are designing one pony from scratch. Remember this division is for pony designs. Minor accessories are allowed but if you wish to draw a pony in full outfit or Halloween setting, you should enter div 2.

Division 2 is for more complex scenes if you like drawing backgrounds, ponies in action or groups. OCs can be used if they fit the Halloween theme though completely new designs are encouraged!

my niece is really excited about the contest.

i know i probably can't enter it, but she is going to draw a picture for the contest too as well as color one.
is it ok, to just display it here? i don't think there is a division for that, but i know she'd love for others to see it.
