I want to start collecting and restoring ponies because I always thought the vintage ones were so cute and pretty as a kid but I was never really allowed to have them
I was wondering.. what are your thoughts on enhancing them? Like both restoring and customing.. Say adding some pearl hues to a white pony, giving it's cutie mark glitter to match the current shades, things like that?
Anyway, that's the main reason I joined to figure that out..
I'm really new to all this, but I'm 25 so I remember the vintage ponies and honestly I feel like it's a part of our generation's childhood that should be preserved. So I'm ordering a bunch of them to clean and beautify.. they are Glory, Majesty, Swirlypop, Moondancer, Stardasher, Cherry Blossom, and 2nd set TAF Wysteria. I think. Lol I just went with the ones that I liked best and wouldn't be too hard to restore because none are too "baity." They have tail rust and stuff that looks pretty basic and no rehairing issues or anything.

I am all for enhancing or customizing a pony, so long as it is really run-down and not a rare or htf one.  There are heaps of tips and tutorials in the Custom forum to help you get started.  I hope you enjoy the Arena and decide to stick around and get to know us all
