The crystal/glitter ponies were first found in early 2012 before the Crystal Empire sets started coming out, so pretty much two whole years ago. Not to mention Applejack and Rainbow Dash had the bangs hairstyle, about a year after they discontinued using it. At least one prototype of Applejack and Pinkie Pie (glittery translucent), plus Rarity, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash (pearly translucent) exist, but I think they are very very rare and expensive.

Strawberry Reef. It was there for a while.

I think they are very very rare and expensive.

So sad. They looked so much better than the crap that Hasbro gave to us eventually.

Yeah- the translucent ponies were probably test-shots or prototypes that didn't get made.  There are only a handful of each floating around out there (Fluttershy, Applejack, I think Rarity too)

I bought Mac from the manufacturer's site for 23$

They are popping up on ebay- but I think selling higher than they should because they are new.  Since it is the Chinese manufacturer that makes millions-  I'd recommend waiting until the fever has died down..  (at least that's what I'm going to do)
