Are G2's easy to find? As far as I know, not too many people collect them.

I think it depends on your area. I've never seen one in person personally. I assume they're more common in countries where they were sold longer.

Common ones are ,like for the first 2 years ,since they were released here and Europe.
but after 1999 until 2003 they were only released in Europe mostly.
Variants are HTF and White Pearl Blondie is one of them

I've never seen ANY ponies here that aren't G4, but G2 do come up on eBay pretty frequently. I know they went through a period of unpopularity with collectors, but I think there are enough of us G2 lovers now that they are becoming more popular. Online at least they are as easy to find as any other gen. Offline, I could not say, but I don't think they come up too often in charity/thrift shops.

I'm missing three and one that I have is incomplete. Upgrading, finding less evident variants and accessories will now by the focus of my collection
