I just joined, and am now finally getting around to making my introduction post.

So... hi!

I'm a G1 collector, with most of my collection dating back to my childhood. Right now, I'm filling in the blanks with ones I always wanted and some international ones I think are neat. My collection is at about 140 ponies currently.

My favorite pony is and always has been Posey.

I do have some G3s but had to stop collecting them because my bank account was crying. I love FiM but have decided that I'm not allowed to collect any ponies from it. We'll see how that goes...

Right now my collection is going through the "I've decided you're all too dirty so it's time for the spa treatment" phase. And it's taking... forever. ~_~

I'm also an anime cel collector, but that market is a bit depressed right now and the exchange rate to yen is just awful - though it seems to be improving a bit. I hope. There are around 1,000 pieces in that collection... But when that collection starts slowing down apparently I supplement with ponies.

I really need to stop collecting things.

As for me. I'm a Graphic Designer/Production manager at a small newspaper.

I'm rambling now, so I'll just stop. Anyway, that's me. Please to meet you. ^_^

I never appreciated Posey much when I was little, but now that I am collecting as an adult I think she is really pretty.  I love her pose especially.  Good luck working your way through washing your collection! It will be worth all of the effort when you have shelf fulls of beautiful ponies

Yeah, I'm not sure I remember why I decided she was my favorite. She was one of the earlier ones I had, and at the time was probably one of the prettiest. I am partial to that pose as well now, I don't have to worry about wanting every pony because there are just some poses I just don't like.

30 ponies washed! So many more to go. ~_~ There are some I never brushed the original curl out of. As a kid it irritated me when they lost their curl so I just stopped brushing them. I remember my cousins would always want to brush them out, and I'd be like "Here, brush Glory instead."  So I'm not really sure what I'll do with those yet...
