Hello everyone! I am one of the more recent recruits to the hobby of MLP but when I was a child my cousin had tons of the older ones that I adored. We'd spend hours having the ponies go on epic adventures to save princesses, save worlds and make new friends of the kingdoms near by. I have many fond memories from that time and now, after getting into Friendship is Magic my love for ponies has been rekindled :).


I currently have all the fashion style ponies minus Twilight and Applejack and a number of the smaller ponies. I currently don't have any of the older ponies but would love to slowly acquire some and who knows, maybe start modding.


I'm an art student full time majoring in illustration and yes, I have been drawing ponies recently. I've even done pony versions of characters that weren't ponies to start! I also do sculpture and collect and photograph asian ball jointed dolls in my free time. I'm not a pro with a camera by far but it's tons of fun, especially when I surround my crankiest doll with the ponies  :lol: .

Listening to your childhood pony adventures totally reminded me of how my friend and I used to play with our ponies.  I'd love to see some of your art work.  Please feel free to post some pony related pics in the Art forum for us to look at :frolic:

Thank you kiwimlp! That's really cool that you used to go on pony adventures too. I have posted some of my stuff up in the artist's area and I'm sure that pretty soon there will be more on the way. Something about these cheerful little ponies is just so addicting.

Aww, thanks and it's really nice to be here. It's really cool being in a place where no one rolls their eyes at you for collecting ponies. My sister just doesn't get it :lol: .

Thank you and I certainly did. I honestly think that it's one of the things that inspired me to become an active role player with some friends and my sister. She and I have been doing story telling style for years :). I still remember the time that my cousin and I had the ponies going from land to air, and then air to sea to try and rescue princess Buttercup from the clutches of the evil marionettes and return her to her father, the king of the sea :biggrin: .
