An image of Hoo-dude was posted to the MH Facebook. I wonder if we'll be seeing him in toy form any time soon? ::crosses fingers for Valentine's Day::

Frankie might be trying to piece together a friendship with Hoo-dude, but it lurks like her kindness has sparked new hope. I caught him writing her name all over his Biteology homework.

I'm currently looking for Operetta and Abbey's (snowboarding) fashion packs and the white dress that comes with Sweet 1600 Clawd.

Thanks! :)

Hmm, I requested it a few days ago, but I'm sure the mods have a lot on their plate at the moment with the transfer. Hopefully we can get it to the top soon. :)

I adore your Sailor Moon collection PrincessNikki! :) I'm really kicking myself that I put off on my SM collection for so long. I started as a teen and kind of let it drop for a while. By the time I got curious enough to look into getting more items the prices had skyrocketed on pretty much everything.

Apart from MH, I have a few Pullips, Sailor Moon dolls, Disney Dollcenas, X-Men dolls/action figures, and the odd Disney Princess. I also collect Vidia dolls from the Disney Fairies line.

Well....that Azura doll is awesome. I was only going to let myself get one doll from this series and be done with hit. I don't think I am gonna be sticking to that though, lol....

I have a question. I am new to this toy line. Are Azura and Cupid new releases, or older ones? Because they are super expensive on eBay but you know how eBay sellers are like sometimes....crazy, LOL.
I am love with those two and think I must get them. Are they hitting store shelves now?

I assume you mean Nefera? :) Azura is her pet scarab beetle that she comes with. Both dolls are new, however Cupid is a Walmart exclusive. Many people began finding her shortly before Christmas and she's being shipped out in cases just containing her. Her "official" release is said to be set for February and she will likely be pushed for Valentine's Day, so she should be easier to find by then.

Any tips on how to get the Dead Tired girls' shoes onto their feet, they just will not go on for me... I initially thought maybe they're not meant to go on, but then I saw the official photos with them wearing them? Help?

Try soaking the shoes in hot water. This should soften up the plastic and help make them a bit easier to get on.

I have a question - Hopefully this isn't to dumb LOL

At my Walmart I was looking at the tags and noticed something odd. The Cupid doll had her own tag with a price of $21.97 and there was a separate tag for Sweet 1600 Doll Assm priced at $22.97. There isn't anything new coming out for that line right? I checked out Mandy's post (which is an amazing reference guide, thanks for that). I can't understand why it would be just a dollar off and why Cupid isn't mixed in with the rest of the dolls?

I figured I'd see the experts on that  ^.^

Not a dumb question at all. It's strange that Cupid was listed at $21.97 though, when she's coming up as $18.87 on their website. I wonder if it was a pricing error or if she's just cheaper online?

I think they have Cupid priced at less though because she doesn't come with as much as the other Sweet 1600 dolls. The other characters have dresses for Draculaura and code keys to unlock virtual items on the website, where Cupid only has her purse and stand for accessories. Since she's also a store exclusive, that gives her her own item number and sets her aside from a typical case assortment. :)

Finally found Skull Shores in my local Asda! *dances* Draculaura's anchor heels and earings just....eeeeee....Just had to share as we've never had them in our Asda, and I'm hoping this means they'll be stocking Cupid come february. :D

Ooh, congrats! :) I really like this version of Draculaura more than I thought I would. She's really pretty and her outfit is just adorable, so much nicer than her Gloom Beach version. I may have to grab her when I run into her in stores.

Good luck on finding Cupid! I'm thinking that they're really going to be pushing her come February, so hopefully your Adsa has her in stock then.

Whee! Just talked to a rep and they're sending out a new doll for me as well. I'm really impressed with their customer service and can't praise them enough. I have over twenty dolls and I have yet to have one break on me in any way so I felt like a total goober to have it happen when I kind of overspent with AD just to get the latest releases early.

Thank you for posting your experience A_G. It really gave me the push I needed, where I probably would have just sucked it up and remained silent otherwise. I urge everyone to give Mattel a ring if you find yourself with a broken doll. The whole process was a breeze and they seem more than willing to set things right.

Just wanted to come here and say Mattel is sending me a replacement Nefera since the arm broke on the one I bought a couple nights ago!! I am VERY pleased with their customer service, wow! :) I just hope the quality on her makeup and such is as nice as the one I picked out for myself. Very happy camper right now!

On a side note - would anyone be interested in buying a Nefera with a broken off ball socket?

Wow, that's awesome Aerosmith_Gal! I've been debating on calling Mattel for Nefera as well, just out of principal and I'm still worried about her knees snapping. I know I could probably get a replacement, though I love the face on mine and I've already seen some of them with wonk eye that I'd hate to get one that didn't look quite as nice. I guess that I could always swap heads. :)

I still have my receipt and box. What do they need from you when you call?

I ended up adding the "what's out" list and FAQ page over here: http://mlparena.com/mlp/index.php?topic=283772.0

I added it a few days ago and wanted to get the FAQ going as well but it wouldn't let me edit until now. If anyone has anything to ad, then that would be great. :) We had some really helpful posts from the old thread, so I'm hoping that the members who contributed can move them over.

I need some info asap!

For the people who have Nefera and Operetta...  Is the arch of Nefera's widow's peak higher on one side than the other? And is Operetta's monocle always crushed into her victory roll curl? I found them both tonight and I'm not sure if they're good enough to keep.  :/

The widows peak on my Nefera is pretty even on both sides. Operetta's mask does seem to leave a bit of a dent in her victory roll where it's displayed in the package though. I think I've seen this issue on every photo of her in, or straight from the box and even her prototype appears to have this going on in photos.

I found that this can be fixed however, without rinsing the glue out of her hair. I dampened the curls on my Operetta a tad and then gently unrolled them and re-rolled them up using drinking straws as curlers and fastening them securely with bobby pins. Once the curls completely dry, the glue should re-harden and the hair will look a lot neater. Then you can place her monocle back at your preference, which I feel sits better at the top of her curl, rather than the middle. :)

I love everyone's BJD's. Congrats on your adorable little centaur piper!

Here's my two tiny Everpurple kitties, Ryun and Miyu. I've been meaning to redo their faces lately and also color in their paw pads.

Skull Shores Draculaura is cute! Congrats on your find dxgirly!

I have a question - do you guys think we'll be getting another release of Toralei? I really want her but I was never able to find her in stores :(

Toralei is still coming out in new assortments and hasn't been out for too long when compared to some of the older releases still shipping out to stores, so hopefully you'll be able to find her eventually. :) The newest cases coming out contain 2x Nefera, 2x Operetta, 1x Toralei, and 1x 2.0 Cleo.

I'm so glad to have The Arena back! :) While the site was down I acquired Operetta, Nefera, C.A. Cupid, and Toralei's fashion pack and needed some place to geek out about it, lol.

My Nefera has really tight joints, to the point that I'm afraid to bend her knees. I've been trying to loosen them up a bit with hot water and a little coaxing but it's not doing much. The ball at the end of her forearm peg also snapped off in it's socket right out of the package. I wasn't even trying to remove her arm and my heart sank when I heard a snapping sound.

I used a little clear nailpolish to tighten the connection and it stays in just fine. It doesn't bother me too much, since most of my older dolls don't have the ball to keep them in anyway, but it's still something that worries me with future releases.

As far as the CGI special goes, I kind of like it. I tend to lean towards 2D animation but I didn't think it looked all that bad from the previews. I really don't see them making a full-time change to that format, the Flash animation is just so much more cost efficient, so I don't mind if they decide to use it for the specials every now and then as long as the webisodes remain unchanged.
