My first (tiny) Brag!

So, in celebration of today being my last day of highschool, I biked ten miles and swung by Walgreens to finally buy myself a G4 pony. I got an FS Pinkie Pie (Does Walgreens even carry any other pony ever?) and brought her home to carefully unpackage. Not such a big deal to get a current pony, but this is the first time I've ever managed to buy one. I'm always too afraid of judgement to even go near the toy aisles.

I was so shocked at the size. I had seen FS ponies before, but never beside another pony who wasn't G4. I guess I didn't realize she would be almost the same size as my G1!

I think I spent half an hour getting her out of the packaging. At least I didn't have to cut it open, lol.

There was a bunch of gluey stuff on her neck. Is that normal, or did I just get a messy one?

I've been eyeballing her for a while. My local Wally World (er, Wal-Mart) has ONE of her and I get grabby every time I go and I see her, but I've been trying to snatch up some Limited Edition G3s of her.

Congrats! I love G4 FS Pinkie Pie. They did a great job on her. My FS Rainbow Dash doesn't have glue on the neck, so you may have just gotten lucky with that. Ha ha.

Congrats!  The gluey stuff does not seem "normal" to me.  I've never seen a Pinky Pie at my Walgreens.  Ours had FS Fluttershy for forever, and now they have Rainbow Dash...one of the only ones we don't have.  So tempting!

I love Pinkie Pie! Never be afraid to shop on the toy isle. And when the cashier snidely asks who you're buying ponies for, just look him or her in the eye and say "Me of course!" (eye rolling is optional)

Thanks everyone! Now that I've bought one, I want to get out to Walmart or Target and buy a bunch more... Getting ponies is too much fun.


I'm really wondering about the glue now. I've been working at the back of her neck with a magic eraser, but I'm unsure if it's really coming off... There's a dried glob of it on her ear too, eek. Dang ponies, rolling around in glue.

Aww, what a cutie! A perfect selection for your first G4, she really is precious.

The glue is an unfortunate factory error Magic eraser won't take it off, but you might get it off with nail polish remover (So long as it contains acetone. Full-on acetone would work to, but it's not really something one has around the house). Cleaning/sanitizing alcohol can work as well, but it takes much longer.
