I don't have a "first" doll:( 

I received the first 8 for Christmas 2010.  I wish I had gotten them one by one though.  Everyone here has such wonderful memories and stories about their "first."  Most cases, the doll is very cherished.  I don't have that.  It was a very special Christmas though:)

ETA: Forgot to say that I've still got them :blush:

Mine was sig Lala in spring 2011 :heart: I unboxed her the day I got her and she made friends right away with my kitty.  ^.^

She was my first. I got her back in September of this year. Now I'm up to 10 dolls. I would have more but I haven't come across the Scaris or Picture Day dolls I want yet.

Mine was Cleo 2.0! ... and then signature Spectra later that day. Cleo and Spectra are still my two favourite girls.

I still have my Spectra but I traded Cleo away for wave 1.

That kinda depends..... I bought B&W SS Frankie from eBay, but couldn't wait for her to arrive, so I went hunting and found Spectra and Cupid. They came home with me and became the firsts, but Cupid has since had an identity swap.

My first was SS Lagoona......  She was bought well after my daughters wave 1 Draculaura and wave 2 Frankie.  :)

My first was DotD Cleo!  My bestie got her for me.  I still have her, though she is currently naked and hairless, awaiting the purchase of new hair for her!

My first girl was GR Abbey.  I started to gain interest in the dolls with Nefera but fell in love with Abbey and the rest of the GR girls.  I still have her.

The first one I got was Venus, about 2 weeks ago. Then I got DDG Operetta. Yesterday I added 6 more to them. Collecting anything is way too addicting. lol

The first one I bought was SS Frankie. I first was drawn in by seeing the B&W Frankie convention doll and thought, "Wow. An entirely grayscale doll. THAT'S neat." but I figured she'd be hella-expensive, so I just didn't give it much thought. Then I saw they had a basic grayscale Frankie on Amazon for $12... and I had to have her. And, of course, since I was getting one... I got SS Draculaura and RM Lagoona, too. My unique grayscale doll had to have friends, after all!

RM Lagoona was the first one I deboxed, though... so in a way, she feels like my first. But technically, SS Frankie was the one that sucked me in XD

That pony version (and LPS version) of Frankie and Whatzit are fantastic!
