Meet the Ponybeginner

Hello Everyone,
   My name is Janeil and I've really just began to fall in love with ponies. I'm 29... ugh almost 30. I just graduated with a BA in liberal arts in May. I am beginning to collect G3 and G1 ponies. I have only a few and have also gotten sucked into the DEMON of ebay and ordered four ponies the other day. My pride and joy right now is a 1991 color swirl pony named...Springy

You are going to love it on this site. Me and you are in very similar situations... I am almost 26 and got into Friendship is Magic.....so I joined this site and then ended up falling in love with some of the G1 ponies.......mostly Big Brothers..if you can't tell from my pics :biggrin: Ebay is a wonderful awful beast....I just snagged up two new ponies a few days ago. I am so happy with them though that I don't feel bad at all.

Just wanted to welcome you and let you know that you aren't alone in being a newcomer to collecting.
Also congrats on graduating from college! That is a big accomplishment. Wish I would have done it.

I can still remember the day I discovered vintage MLPs for sale on line!  It was all on from there, lol.  I am sure you will love the Arena and meeting all of the other pony fans here :D

Welcome to the Arena!  Ebay IS the devil.   :yikes:  I'm there... every day!

I also collect G1's and G3's.  But boy is it a slippery slope.  I told myself I would ONLY collect Sparkle ponies and twinkle eyed G1's.  But then I started really loving boys... and some of the boys have families!  Ohh and this pony has rollerskates.  That's how it happened for me.   :lol:  Good luck working on your collection!
