First Brag, First G1!

Well, first G1 in recent history which I can say that I own.


I originally bought a pony on eBay thinking that she was a G3 in poor condition that was going to be my next victim to be customized.  I got her for three dollars and didn't really think a lot of it.  In fact, almost completely forgot about it (I buy a lot of bait) until a couple days ago when I found her on a different site while researching G1s.  At first I said to myself "I recognize that pony from somewhere."  And then I realized that I bought that pony and that pony is Pina Colada! 


She came in the mail today and I am super excited.  I was taking a nap when she came so my boyfriend sat her next to me and when I woke up I was snuggling Pina Colada.   She did have a few little places on her that the seller mentioned, the biggest thing being a very large black ink spot on the back of her neck that you can see in the listing.


So I washed her up in the sink and conditioned her hair.  After that, I took off what I could with nail polish remover, and if that didn't work I used pure acetone.  After that I went over her with a damp towel and patted her dry.  That big black ink spot required acetone.  I think it was a sharpie marker or something.  So, this isn't a very good picture (I can't find my camera so I used my webcam) but this is the finished result.

I'm pretty impressed with her and myself.  There is one little mark that's on her forehead (you can't see it in the picture) that I'm going to go over to make sure it's not something more serious.
