Hi! I'm really excited to join this community and grow my collection, since I only started this hobby very recently.
Personal:How old are you? I just turned 17 a few months ago.
Where do you live? State, Country? I live in upstate New York, near Albany.
Do you work or attend school? Profession or major? I'm a junior in high school right now, but planning to major in chemistry.
Who are the important people in your life? My friends are
very important to me. I have a fairly small group of friends, but we're all very close-knit and I don't know what I'd do if that had to change anytime soon.
Ponies:How long have you been collecting? I started my collection about a year and a half ago. It's been growing, albeit quite slowly, ever since!
Which generations of ponies do you collect? G1, G2, G3 or G4? So far I only own G4 ponies, with the exception of one G3.
What made you want to collect ponies? I started watching
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in 2011 and quickly became a fan. When I became more involved with the MLP community, I was surprised to learn that people actually collected ponies. But as I started buying the G4 ponies and accumulating a small collection, I quickly learned how fun it is! Not only are the ponies adorable, but they give me a sense of childhood wonder that you tend to forget about as a teenager. The nostalgia of My Little Pony is what really made me want to continue collecting.
Tell us about your collection! I have a small handful of G4 brushable ponies, as well as a dozen or so blind-bag miniature figurine... things. My only G3 so far is Triple Treat, which I don't exactly remember how I acquired because I definitely didn't buy her.
But I intend to grow my G4 collection in the future, as well as begin a collection of G3's and maybe even older generations!
