Hello everybody. I don't normally like to talk so I'll just keep this quick.

I'm a male, 21 years old, live in the US, and I've been a brony since Summer 2011. I put the story of how I became a brony in spoilers for those interested.

I don't know what else to talk about so I'll talk about my first encounters with ponies. My first encounter was G2 ponies but I don't remember a thing. Next came years of G3 pony commercials for playsets and movies. At first, I just got used to them but slowly felt they were too annoying to ignore (no offense). Then there was the long hiatus of pony commercials and everything about MLP were literally buried deep in my memory. Fast forward to Spring 2011 and I innocently stumbled upon (what I didn't know yet), a G4 pony meme. It was on the minecraft forums and since this IS the internet, I thought of it as somebody trying to be sarcastic and funny. A few months later, I looked through some of the old stuff I visited and came across the image a second time. This time my curiosity got the better me and I made one of the best mistakes of my life.

I figured it was a random image with an unrelated meme so I googled "rainbow pony" and then three words stuck out in the results, "My Little Pony". From there I researched a little about what has become of MLP and learned they have a new show on The Hub. I was a huge fan of shows on Discovery Kids and other networks by Discovery so I decided to watch the first episode (if Discovery would stand by it, why not?), and that is how Equestria was made.

I never was a merchandise collector but I can spend hours browsing through unique collections. I'm a perfectionist so I don't collect anything unless I know I can complete the set and it is worth the effort.

I'm just an idle brony looking for something to do, so I figured I would finally join up and learn a thing or two until I figure out a project to occupy my free time before Season 3.

I'm particular about my collecting habits too. If a pony has dry, frizzy or cut hair then she is a no-no for me.  I hope you enjoy the forums
