I don't dress up. :) (I only dress up for the local Renn Faire.)

But, my son dresses up. I don't know what he wants to be. Last year, he was an awesome Darth Vader!

I'm getting this costume from gymboree and going to be the winter woods fairy from the new tinkerbell movie! It's really pretty in real life.

We don't get trick-or-treaters often, but I'll dress up and decorate anyway.  :silly:  I think a friend is having a Halloween party, so we may go to that.  My costume will be a recycled one from a past year I think, I can't afford a new one.  I was thinking of reusing my gypsy one or wearing my dirndl, depending on the type of party and the hemline.  XD  Though I may try to finish my Vessa hoodie and just go as a unicorn.

I may just pick up one of the adult Monster High costumes. I love Clawdeen's outfit!

I didn't know they were making adult ones now. That's awesome. They look good.

My friends and I are dressing as the guys from Magic Mike for a contest.  Yes, we're all anatomically female.  :)

My son and I are doing a Wes Anderson themed Halloween party for adults and kids, so we're thinking of getting red Adidas track suits or doing characters from Fantastic Mr. Fox.  He wants to be a pirate again or a dragon for trick or treating.

If I can get the funds together, I'm hoping to finish my new fursuit before Halloween. :)

I have had a black gothic dress since high school that I usually wear. I bought a costume last year, but all my friends suck and didn't dress up, so I didn't stay in it for very long. I may do the dress again this year. Possibly get some fangs and maybe some fake blood and go as a vampire.

I'm not too sure yet! I have this dilemma every year. I cannot wait to learn how to sew!

I like to cosplay, so this year since comic con is only a few days later , I plan to make zelda costumes.  I'm preggers so I'm HOPING to go as a goron, lol.  I'm planning on making Malon as well (since I could do that one preg too... I already made Zelda and Midna, but they won't work preg), and my kids are going to be young Link and Saria from Ocarina of Time.  My husband is boring and going as Corran Horn from his Star Wars books, lol.  I think I may force him to wear his Link hat so he can sorta fit in, hahahaha.  I don't think he'll bite, though.  :(

I love my Midna (true form) costume.  i totally would wear it this year if I wasn't going to be sticking out so much.  I don't want to stretch the zentai suit!

Here is my Midna costume... image modified as a scrapbook page with an in-game image!  I love it!

Since Mother Nature totally EFFED over my Halloween last year, I'm wearing my Hogwarts Hufflepuff uniform and robes again this year. We were SLAMMED with a nor'easter from hell last year that left us without electricity for over a week, which included Halloween. We had maybe 2 trick or treaters because of it, and my decorations were destroyed.

So yeah! Hogwarts Hufflepuff uniform and robes again, but this year, I finally have my quill, my spells notes, I'm going to try and make a set of scrolls, and will be hitting up Whimsic Alley's website for school books. I know my.hogwarts has school books for the Kindle and Nook, so I'll try for those as well. I'm also saving my pennies for a Phantom Phlyer broom from Alivans.

I remember that noeaster! I raced it down the coast from CT to NC. It caught me in MD. Heh.  So random! I also missed Halloween because of it!

Last year, my boyfriend and I had matching costumes. He was Slash from Guns n' Roses and I was his groupie. Here's a pic:

This year, as long as I don't have to work, I'll either dress up as a Cyber Raver or Matsumoto from Bleach. :)

If I dress up as anything, I'll probably wear my ringwraith costume.

I am planning on being Jem from Jem and the Holograms.  I haven't gotten anything for it yet but I have stuff book marked online that I hopefully can get.  I am really excited about it .  I just discovered the cartoon on Netflix (heard of it before but never watched it) and absolutely loved it.  I wonder who will actually know who I am though if I go out with friends.  I tend to gravitate to stuff from generations before most of my age group and no one ever gets it.  I was Elvira one year in high school and the only one who got it was my 60s something biology teacher.  I was glad at least someone got it .  I may go as her again sometime with an actual wig and stab at her makeup.  I am inspired after seeing her on Counting Cars when they redid her original movie T-bird.  She came back in full Elvira costume from Mistress of the Dark.  I loved it!

I am unsure what to do this year...after my friend Ryan went as a Optimus Prime a couple of years ago in a home made outfit which actually transformer - when he knelt down he was a truck and when he stood up it was a robot - I feel as though all my costumes just dont make the grade :P

This thread is looking great for ideas!
