Princess Accessory Experts I need your Help!

Hello!

So at the fair last weekend I bought a princess wand off a lovely vendor.  It was labeled as belonging to Princess Starburst which made me happy as I need her wand.  However, the references I can find for Starburst's wand say that it is pink and the wand I bought has more of a yellow tinge to it.  It got me thinking that maybe it is Taffeta's wand instead.  I posted a pic below (although it does look a little pink in my pic so maybe it is Starburst's?)  Can anyone confirm who's wand I have?  Either way I'm over the moon as I need them both, I just want to properly identify it.

I don't think I've ever seen an orange wand but colors and shades of the Princess accessories weren't a 100% consistent (i.e. I've seen Serena come with either blue or purple combs, Starburst with either magenta or pale pinkish purple wand, Royal Blue with either white or aqua ribbon, etc...).

I bought an orange wand a year or two ago at a local toy show, so I know they're out there. But I don't remember if there was ever a consensus as to which pony it came with. Mine looks just like yours.

That is rather odd. I don't think there is an orange one but the possibility of the dark pink one fading to orange is there. I've seen some casts of the wands too.

Okay so I was browsing evilbay as usual and I came across a Princess Starburst auction. I will post the image only from a current auction:

Her wand also looks orange-y. And in the Wiki, the MIB is a dark pink, but a pale pink is listed!

I saw that auction too and think it looks a lot like the wand I have. So maybe it is Starburst's then. The pic skews the color a bit but it is definitely not orange. It's more of a yellowish color tinged with pink at the edges.

Maybe it is faded then.  I have a pink wand that has a bit of a yellow to it.

Its a UK wand; came mainly with Ruby but also popped up with Amber as well. I think I have 3 of these now. One from Ruby who came with her original box and accessories and 2 others also picked up when accompanied by Ruby.

Hmm, Hathorcat, If you are ever interested in selling I would love an orange wand.  It is my favorite color and I am trying to get all the wands.

I've seen a lot of pink wands yellow like this too.   I'm not sure if it's age, light, or other environmental factors, but the pink wands tend to get all sorts of shades.   

I sometimes pull MOC images for accessory reference, and found a couple of Starburst with pale pink-lavender wands.  I compared them to another image I found of a wand that looks to be in early stages of yellowing. It's almost peach colored.  The image is from a USA auction with all the other accessories being correct for US Starburst.

Thanks everyone!  I am going to go with it being Starburst's wand.

Since that mib one was one I used to own, I can tell you it is light pink but the blue background of the box is giving it that purplish hue. I also had a second one mib with a bubble gum bright pink. Moondust is the same, I've seen her with both colors Mib as well. My Princess Amber came with a dark blue like Tiffanys and Ruby has a pink. I think the orange is just yellowing that's happened;)
