I had a great day today. I had work in the morning. I did a bridal makeup trial and she booked me so I was happy. Since, I was in a different area I stopped at a walmart to check out their ponies. I spotted the FS ponies So I saw that they had 3 boxes, so the 1st was a pinky pie, the 2nd was fluttershy and the 3rd was Rarity! It was like winning the lottery. So I picked it up and almost hugged it lol I also looked through the blue blind bags. Then this lady comes up to me and is like excuse me miss but it's against store policy to open those. So I was like, yeah I'm sure it is, but I'm not opening anything. So she was like what are you doing then? So I was like I'm looking at the codes
Then she was like oh ok and walked away but she kept looking at me as if I was going to open them once she walked away or something. So after a long drive home I checked the mail and saw a post it on my mail box which means I've got a package. So I opened my package and behold it was my comic con exclusive Ditzy Doo hooves. That just made my day

Now all I have to do is find an FS applejack

So uhm, codes?? We try to peer in that tiny itsy bitsy hole to see who's there, but what's this magic you say about the codes?! Another way to tell who's in there?!

yes, there's an easier way to tell who's in the bag besides the peep hole. It worked for the blue bag for me but not for the pink blind bags.

There's a 5 digit code on that tiny flap on the bag.
So the code on the bag is 81286 ....so you take the 2nd digit which is 1 and the 4th digit with is 8.  That tells me that the pony inside the bag is #18 which is metallic Applejack.

Actually, that helps a lot!!
So how do you know what pony lines up with what number? Do you know if this works for wave 3 ?(the ones with glow in the dark  ponies)

i'm sure there's a pony guide online, but when I first found them I just made sure I didn't get any bags with the same last 2 digits that way I wouldn't get any repeats. I had no idea which was which. I've written which codes correspond to each pony that I have so far. If you'd like I can take a pic of it and post it later on. I live in jersey and I've only seen the pink blind bags and the blue blind bags, sorry i'm not sure if it works but you can test it out for yourself if you have one of the blind bags. check the code and see if it corresponds to the  pony # on the card.

Congrats on your finds! I'm surprised the shop assistant didn't ask about the codes so she can tell others.  It would help stop people for opening them.  Good on you
