After reading this thread, is "pure curiosity" a good enough reason to ask to join?  I thought it would be a dark and gloomy dungeon where all gloomy people went to wallow in tears of blood, but I guess I might have been wrong..?

And yes, a member of the SH can request their membership to the SH be removed at any time

I'd say just remember that SH is not open for public discussion.  If you come out of curiosity and are caught spreading information from SH, there are certain to be consequences.

I'm not a member of the SH but from what I gather, it's an adult Off Topic forum. And with as much drama as we get in the other threads I don't even want to know what it's like over there
