G1 -> G4 Starflower made by Rayechu for a swap. We were going to exchange ours in person but things didn't work out since she was only in town during the holiday season and I was really busy with work. So we ended up sending them via mail later!

I have more coming soon, but I really wanted to share them!

I also won a lot of ponies on ShopGoodwill for $12 (plus their insane shipping). Here's the picture!

I knew they looked like they were in need of some cleaning up, but HOLEY MOLEY. I've not been collecting long, but these ponies were caked in God only knows what! D;

The babies ended up cleaning up REALLY well, they only had a few small issues, and some faint stains.  Tiddlywinks and Cotton Candy didn't even need more than a wipe of acetone and a soap/water bath. The newborns had some marks on them which came off for the most part. Those are HORRIBLE to remove the heads BTW. D; OMG. Baby Moondancer, who I was most excited about was SUPER white and looked gorgeous. Her only issue was some light cancer spots.

The adults however. OMG. They were covered with some greasy grimey black gunk. At first I thought it was shaprie, but it came out with acetone and an oxy clean bath.

Steamer had some rust issues, and some grime. He also had like 20 year old mud caked on his symbol. But suprisingly, he cleaned up amazingly well! Just one oddball spot, which I can't figure out if it's cancer, mold, or a stain from the grime. He's in better shape than my current Steamer. But I will be selling him, because I'm attached to my current one. n_n

Cherry Berry unfortunately is the worst off after cleaning. She's stained from the ick that was attached to her as well as staining from her hair color.   So I'm not sure what I will do with her. I haven't removed her head yet.

Windy was the NASTIEST pony. OMFG. YUCK.  She had rust and grime everywhere. But she cleaned up very well. Her only issue is major symbol rubbing (which I plan on redoing) and yellowing. So I may give her a peroxide bath come April or so.

Poor Skydancer has seen much better days! I literally thought she was going to be bait. But when I inspected her, I realized how excellent her paint was. No rubbing or paint loss, aside from her blush being entirely gone. So I decided to give her a cleaning... and... WOW.  She just needs rehaired and reblushed and she looks just as good as new! EVERYTHING came off!  Sadly her childhood owner hacked away at her hair in several spots, so rehairing is going to be fun.

She was rehaired with dollyhair in Hearthrob, Lemonade, and Water Nixie. I was pretty sure that her color had faded a bit because she looked like she had been outside and faded slightly. It's close but there was still a little aqua left in her hair. All of the pink was rehaired entirely, most of the yellow and about 1/3 of the blue needed rehaired since a child went scissor happy.

There was also a chunk out of her DS ear, which I filled in with sculpey. I used the boiling water method, since I didn't have any self hardening clay on hand, and I only needed a teensy bit. Then repainted it.  Reblushed using pastel chalk and a brush, and sealed! I tried paint, but couldn't get it too look right.

Anyway, she looks almost good as new and is ready to join the herd!

I've been wanting Baby Glory for awhile, since I bought one for a swap! Finally found someone who had one in great condition for a good price! Also, I've been into flutters lately and couldn't pass up Peach Blossom!

I updated the post with a finished picture of Skydancer! I finished rehairing the hacked away pieces today. She looks gorgeous now!
