thank you cherry for your advice on this matter you are a true guru of trading/sales law!
KCherry - thank you for your valuable input. ^-^ I hadn't thought about international shipping and tracking issues. Do you know, if the item is insured and then shipped internationally, does the postal service cover losses in the case of something happening? Such a scary thought. I've never had a problem dealing overseas, but often I hear of packages getting caught up in customs and then the delay becomes monumental.
EMS is usually offered in every country, and seems to cost anywhere from 15 to 35 depending on where it's coming FROM. Generally arrives in no more than a week to wherever it's going. You can usually just send it through EMS at your local post office.DHL costs a bit less but their offices seem to be a little bit harder to find. They also usually arrive in no more than a week. Here's their website if you'd like to know more. http://www.dhl.com/en.htmlWhenever I buy ponies from other countries (especially South America) and they cost more than usual, I tend to ask the seller if they'd be willing to use either one of these methods. Definitely worth it for me to pay a bit more for shipping than risk losing a pony in the scary dark place that is international shipping.
