Italian brag!

The most recent additions to my Italian herd came a few days ago, but I didn't get around to making a post until just now, since I was taking inventory of all my extra ponies, lol. Anyway! In a previous post, I showed off my lovely new Pinwheel, but then Bow Tie and Lemon Drop arrived safe and sound all the way from Germany (thanks again, BerryMouse!)

Congrats, they are such beauties!

I love Italian Bow Ties (Bow Ties in general. but still!).. I wish I could justify a straight haired one to be a buddy to my curly hair Italian.. but I don't think my husband would get the army mentality

And yes, Bow Tie has such a simple charm! She's not the flashiest pony, but I can't pass up a freckled pony - they're so precious! And I love her colors; the combination always makes me think of cotton candy (the confection, not the pony!  )

Thank you! Yes, I absolutely needed this Lemon Drop! Most I see have the pink around their symbols from age, but this one's are so new-looking! I really love her colors, too - she's my favorite CP pony so far, for sure.  My mom loves her too, because her name sounds like something she'd give a real pony.

lol! Thank you. She does tend to do that, lol, she is basically the newly uncontested leader of my herd, and she will always keep pride of place, since she was a very special and generous Secret Santa gift.

Me too! I like a lot of the Nirvana ponies, but the Italians and Frenchies are the prettiest, to me. That, and I lived in Sicily for a couple of years as a kid, and collecting the Italians now makes me feel less like I missed out on them possibly while we were there. It's possible they never made it into stores in Sicily, but I hate to think maybe we just didn't go in the kinds of stores that sold them or something. I'm not even sure what years they were produced there, so we may have been a few years too late to find them.
