I've had quite a few BJDs over the years, but I've sold most of them. I just never bonded with my BJDs like I did with my other dolls. I have good memories of them though!

Right now, the main type of BJD I have is a Jerry Berry (although she isn't officially one). Her face is resin and it's painted. The artists at Estebebe make hundreds of little brushstrokes to create the artwork on every doll's face. Every JB comes with an Obitsu body-- BJD is the closest type of doll I can think of when I hold and see her.

Thank you! She's a limited edition Summer Song Birds Berry. What I love about all JBs, whether they're limited or basic, is that every doll is truly one-of-a-kind because each faceup receives slightly different detailing. The act of hand painting faces is a very sweet and heartfelt process of doll creation for sure.

I think you'd be thrilled with a Penny if you ever decided to buy one. Sleepy Penny has always been one of my favorite basics to see around!
