I have just started collecting the CCG Cards, and holy moly, you get a lot of duplicates in a deck! I'm looking to sell/trade my duplicates, and was wondering what the deal is with that? Do you trade by rarity? As if common for common, rare for rare? is there a cross-rarity value, e.g. 2 x commons = 1 x uncommon? If I were to sell them instead, what is the going price per card by rarity scale? Is selling cards even a thing? I know it's a lot of questions, but I'm a total noob at this, but I'm totally hooked on these darned things - they have official CHECKLISTS! I LOVE checklists!!!

You have awhile to go, then. Seriously, collecting these is impossible, which is why I stopped. It's competitive and rare cards are worth upwards of $100, promos can be as high as $300. I know this is typical with any card game, but just letting you know what you're getting into if you plan to collect. I only collect Pony, who up until recently has had nothing but promos... luckily I snagged most from EP's flash sales. You get a lot of duplicates because any useful card generally should have 3 to a deck for a high chance to pull. Oh, and you know, to make pulling even moderate cards harder. You're better off buying individuals than packs... or at least buy them by the box because you are garunteed two URs a box.

Sitting poses are to die for.

On a side note, someone on my Facebook feed posted new, small plush they found at Hot Topic of Dr. Hooves and Pony. They aren't Funrise, but not sure who made them/price. Look to be in the 5-7" range.

I'm in the Webster area and our HT always is a month behind after people first start spotting the new wave. I'm just surprised at how much surplus of AJ and Big Mac there are on our shelves... I had found 2 glitter AJs at the same location, once when the wave first showed up and once this past weekend.

Are you still looking for the DVD? I may still have our ex-rental copy around here. Plays fine. Let me know?
