Wow. That's a great find. Too bad they are so much. :(

When the spitfire glitters first came out I remember a friend saw her in a comic shop. The owner wanted $90. She thought it was too much but then second guessed herself and went back the next day. The evening before the one sold on evilbay for $600. The comic shop owner had raised the price to $600. This was a pony he got straight from funko. The glitter never sold at that price but he had it listed that high for quite a while.

This is just to say- I'm sure glitter AJ will come down. But she is a beauty! ;)

A friend on the west coast picked up celestia in store. She's beautiful. Can't wait to get mine. I hope she arrives before Christmas!

I think there have been shipping delays with the docks since oct. Things may have come to a head around thanksgiving but I know we have had delays.

We print our 4 color items (picture books and cookbooks or coffee table books) in China. We usually receive our product a month ahead of release date. Luckily most of our product is relased before december. We don't have anything huge coming in December. But some of the cookbooks were suppose to arrive oct 28 but are still stuck on a freight storage container. They are still there. We were able to recover by finding a printer based in the US and we reprinted.

We have jan titles that are sitting in long beach waiting to come to our warehouse. Not sure when it will happen but we started printing our jan titles at the US company.

Not sure if other industries are impacted but I think anyone who produces items in China, sends them over by boat and doesn't have a long lead time may be in a similar situation to Funko or my company.

I went to the mall today to pick up food and peeked at my HT store. They had a couple Lunas on the shelf. So hopefully they will start showing up in more stores soon.

@MoonbeamStar: I may take you up on a future pre-order offer, depending on who gets released next wave.

Lunas have already invaded HT stores!!??  But...but... hardly anyone has gotten theors yet! :'/

Wait wait waaaiiit theres some kinda stike going on!??? Where is this going on, China? And what from?? Im also really confused as I live under a rock (its in Pinkie's rock farm btw) so I really have no idea whats going on! So Lunas are probably sitting in a boat somewhere over seas!?? All those glitters..... :'(

The strike was/is with the truckers who pick up merchandise from the LA/Long beach port/dock. There is also a dock workers strike at the same port. So at one point there were 2 strikes happening. It's not with all truck likes nor is it with the all shipping lines but it's with a good number.

There may be other west coast docks with strikes but the LA/Long Beach dock is the largest in the west coast and most stuff comes through that dock.

I think it's just celestias.

Here's the latest on my end!

"Unfortunately there is a delay due to the strike. Because it is out of our control, we do not want to guarantee the delivery date. We are very sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused you. Since you received the free shipping, we would be more than happy to allow free shipping to your home on your next order! We went ahead and notated your order with the allowance of the discount. When you're ready to place your new order, give our customer service a call at 800-892-8674 and reference your old order number. Thank you for being patent!"

So does that mean it might be later??? Yikes this is so bad!! Someone please inform us of this "strike" I'm confused.
there's two, if I understand correctly. Dockworkers and truckers: I know the truckers went back to work recently, but that still means theres a giant amount of shipments to be shipped out

I only know what my transportation dept tells me but most items made in Asia are shipped to the US via boat and arrive at the LA/long beach dock. This is the largest dock/port in the US. I know some delays started back in October and then there was a trucking strike from the 2 biggest carriers. I think the truck driver dispute was resolved but the dock issues still exist and a lot of other west coast docks are backed up, having issues etc.

My company has stock waiting on those docks but we can't get them. But a big difference is that my materials can be made in the uS. The ponies can't. They are probably sitting on the dock just waiting to be off loaded once the strike is resolved. I don't know much uch about what the dock workers are looking for but I hope it is resolved. I think things came to a head around thanksgiving.

It's frustrating but at this point if it's the strike, it's not hot topic and it's not funko. It's just frustrating.

The LA port issues are impacting my company as well. Luckily we can produce our product in the US. But the ponies can't :(

Hopefully it all works out soon.

My friends on the west coast have not see hide not hair if the newest wave. My local HT, the largest in the area, was sold out of all ponies.

Little Spiffy!! Pictures please I don't have a blacklight anymore!

Side note: Daring Do "Dazzle" is almost as painful as "Sweetie Drops" sigh.

Not the best picture (I used my cell phone):

...and this is the glitter Rarity...

I bought a black light to look at my skin to see how much sun damage I have (not much, thankfully).   I was pleasantly surprised how all of my toys look under the UV light.  My EAH dolls were the biggest surprise...

OMG. Thanks for posting a pic. This is so cool!! I wonder if any of the other glitters look this cool under a black light. Probably not.

Thanks again.
Awesome , so do you know who is coming next?
Not officially. When I was there it was all about SDCC so I knew most if the SDCC exclusives before they were announced. There were a ton of projects on the concept board but some may be coming out this year or some may come next year.

I would prefer not to say who I saw as there was no timeline for their release. I also wouldn't want to say and have it turn out that funko or hasbro changes things up.

I can say there should be a target exclusive variant coming this oct/nov

I just found out yesterday I live not far from Funko headquarters. Means I'll have to go later...Lol. my orders should be able to be picked up Tuesday when I get home

You should definitely try to go. I have been to the old hq and the new hq. Got a tour of both it's really cool. If you time it right you might be able to get a preview of upcoming releases but also see prototypes. My last tour was when we saw prototypes of daring do and rarity. So when I was there I saw the proto type as well as hand painted proto type of rarity. Also got to peek at the concept board.

It's really cool oh and I met the designer who works on the mlp line. There are a few designers but just 1 who does the ponies.
