So do you like customs?

Hello there MLP fans!

My Name is Little Minion. (Don't panic, it's not what my parents named me!) I'm child stuck in a 30 year old body and I have a love of all things bright and plastic. I live on a narrow-boat in the middle of the English country-side with my other half, two crazy dogs, two crazier ferrets and a gang of surprising normal chickens.

I have been watching a friend of mine customise MLP's now for about 5 years and have loved what she's done. What you can do with these cute little toys and the direction of some of the customes is mind blowing. Then, last October (2011) said friend took me to PonyCon where she had her own stall. It was brilliant! All the people were so nice and chatty, everyone buying and selling, with compatitions and prizes to boot. I simply HAD to get inlovled!

So since New Year I have been under her watchful eye as she's helped pass on the tricks of the trade and more than not, stopped me going crazy and throwing a half sculpted pony across the room or making me a nice cup of tea to to stop me yelling at a pack of hair that got tangled up or a eyes that i just can't stop looking crossed! (Needless to say, she's amazing!)

Off I went, armed with a bag of what I learned was called 'bait' (?) and some supplies. So far I've made about 10 customised pony's and I intend to take my meager collection to PonyCon this year and see what the masses think! I'll be putting some of the pictures up on this sight soon enough and at some point would really like some feedback from other artists and collectors. (Be nice, I've not been at it long. Though I have been told I have a bit of a flair for it, and I love creating them and I'm sure that's all that matters in the end!)
