Announcing the safe arrival of Venezuelan Cherry...

The lovely Cherry arrived safe to the UK!  I was so worried about her after all the awful stories so was shocked when I saw she hadn't been opened at customs...


I fell in love with her at first sight and that hardly ever happens to me with ponies.  Cherries Jubilee was my most played with pony as a child and I am lucky to still have her, so I think this pony has a special place in my heart.  Her hair is the most unbelievably beautiful colour in real life and I'm so thrilled to have her in my collection x

Do you guys think the Venezuelans are the mintiest of the nirvanas we have ever seen...probably because so many have been MIB....but when you think of the percentage that have been close to perfect in comparison to other countries [maybe except Greece] it is more than a little amazing...in fact have we seen many that have been in terrible condition at all?

My Loose Pink Blossom is in Lovely shape, she was the sellers childhood pony given to her by her aunt.  So not sure what it can be attributed to.  Maybe economic stability at the time they were released, Cultural...?  I know the one Shellebelle sold had a lot of issues, but I think she was found in Colombia.  Kitkatvintage's orange Cherries is in beautiful shape also.  That was a direct buy from Venezuelan from ebay.
